Liberals, is this what Muh democracy looks like?

The rights of property owners being subjected to the will of the majority.

Fox News

Los Angeles voters will cast their ballot on a proposal that could force hotels to house the homeless, a policy that has many hotel owners concerned about how it will impact public safety

This is the worst idea I’ve ever seen. Now people won’t be able to stay in hotels. What is stopping them from building facilities?

Kind of reminds me of property owners being forced to house British solders.

I think the city will pay them market rate, but the owners don't want it because the homeless will trash their place.

And keep away the normals. Nobody wants to stay next door, next floor, or even next building to a homeless camp.

Which is why I hope they do it. Not only would it frick California up more, but it would be a riot to watch.

This is likely a move to get the hotel to shut down so they can make it into a homeless facility. It’s a power move by Marxists

And unless the city is paying to rent the entire place out, paying guests aren’t going to want to pay to stay in a hotel full of homeless people. I’m sure the staff will be thrilled with cleaning up after them and walking into rooms with people passed out and used needles all over

We really need to look at the bright side.

If you’re a business traveler, the odds of getting a blowjob at the hotel bar could go up exponentially.

The agenda is the complete destruction of cities with the city becoming the default property owner once private property is worthless.

That’s pretty much what democracy is, in a nutshell.

Rest assured this will pass regardless of how many people vote against it.

If it's on a ballot referendum, muh yea! That's the very essence of democracy, distilled!

So the essence of democracy is allowing a majority to infringe the rights of the minority?

It’s almost as if democracy sucks
