They'll take it out of medicaid that way it isn't just CA taxpayers, the rest of us will be paying it too.

Remember, Obama's admin declared drug addiction a disease, hence medicaid.

Congress is required by law to fully fund each state's medicaid/medicare.

That money won’t be spent on the homeless. These grifting homeless “non-profits” will get paid, their “CEO”s getting $400k a year,. along with Democrat politicians’ cut. Huge scam, just like USAID.

They were building little cracker jack dwellings for them at one point, but that was costing 380 to 570K per unit so they have gone back to renting hotels.

Their theft of taxpayer dollars makes the feds blush.

Do you have to apply in person?

Asking for a friend.

Benign neglect is a failed policy-open air drug markets where people are stabbed; open air prostitution near schools; bloated bureaucracies where multiple people do the work of one and cashless bail for habitual criminals.

At least SF is headed by a relatively moderate Dem mayor and a tougher D.A. When I left the Bay Area in 2005, SF was spending $200 million on homeless services. Today it’s about a billion.

Why the hell is Louisiana overrun with homeless? Why wouldn’t they all head California? Weather is nicer…and they’d live a much better life. We need to pull a South Park and herd them west.

You’re mostly right. Just double the salary/comp number.
