The escape had nothing to do with “gutting” the NOPD. It was the failure of the OPS to run a secure facility. Hutson
does not inspire confidence. How could the staff miss the real time video and the dudepulling an exposed door ajar , not to mention dismantling the toilet and plumbing.

What an embarrassment the city of New Orleans has become. Between the jail break and mass murder on New year, the rest of country sees this city as a joke. I was born in the city and about 50 years ago I moved because of the crime.
