Like the 8 BHO years when our economy sucked and was propped up by QE's? It is common knowledge that many companies took losses then and were able to write them off so the Government didn't screw them any more.

Albeit, Solyndra - now out of business, GE and multiple other Corps were part of the fascism of BHO's economy and were rewarded because they played the game.

Or could you be referring to the Rachel Maddow scoop about his taxes that actually showed he paid hundreds of thousands in taxes with no Russian write offs?

Yeah ok.

I’m not talking about a president, I’m talking about the prosecutor.

Okay, is that the prosecutor that was selected after the original prosecutor was forced out because of Biden's threat? I'm really asking because I don't know.

Yeah I’m like 95% sure. Not sure how long this one was in office but he wasn’t the one that Biden wanted out because this guy was just fired in the past couple months.

Prior Ukraine President

closed in May

You mean the exact month the new, anti-corruption candidate was inaugurated? You mean "closed" by outgoing, corrupt "honest Yuriy" who was jailed for corruption? The guy who was replaced just three months later by a guy who is actively investigating Burisma? Shocking!

Hunter Biden did not violate any Ukrainian laws -- at least as of now, we do not see any wrongdoing.

Hunter hasn’t done anything but benefitted from his father’s station... and possibly committed tax fraud but there’s no hard evidence of that yet aside from Shokin’s testimony.

People keep construing the issue around Burisma. Hopefully, they’ll find enough on them though that they’ll be able to tie it back to the Atlantic Council.

What’s going to really be interesting is, if it turns out Hunter was evading taxes via Rosemont Seneca. Shokin testified that Joe, Hunter, and a host of American politicians were evading taxes through the firm. If that’s true, no reason to doubt that Joe did indeed get Shokin fired to stop the Burisma investigation.

Deflection?

Some years are good years and some years are bad for the average citizen. Do you not write off anything? I don't have kids and am like OT rich - LOL not - but I still have pay over what is deducted each year. If I owned a business and could write off investments and losses, I would as you would too.

This still does not answer the question that you are ok with politicians STEALING American tax dollars through Foreign Aid and money laundering. That says ALOT about who you are.

Agreed and I think if they ever find evidence of an actual crime, tax evasion will be it.

I’m not at all ok with that. But those are actual crimes. They haven’t proven that as of yet. If they do, prosecution should follow.

Yes and Rudy knew that and was trying to be buddy buddy with the prosecutor until the prosecutor said in May they found no wrong doing on the Bidens so Rudy turned on him. That’s around when he cancelled his trip.

While Mickey is being a bit dramatic about Rudy, based on the evidence we have today he’s not wrong.

Do I think the Ukrainians have evidence that Hunter broke the law? No, Hunter didn’t know wtf he was doing. Burisma was just a pay day.

Do they likely have enough dirt to bury Biden? In all probability, yes. However, they want to wash their hands of being used in influencing American politics and I can’t say that I blame them. This is why I think Rudy cancelled his trip. The advisors pushing the “stay out of it” card won out and a trip to the Ukraine would’ve been pointless.

All that said, we can’t miss the forest for the trees here. Per your article, the Ukrainians have already done the leg work on Hunters payments coming out of Burisma. It would appear that Durham and Barr now also have that information. While they might not have broken Ukrainian law, American investigators now know exactly which accounts to look at and in what amounts to determine discrepancies in tax reporting.

Yes. Hunter Biden was being paid to breathe. Why do you think Burisma hired him? His knowledge of pipelines?

LOL because no laws were broken?

That's the least important element of this.

It's corrupt and anyone with a pea brain knows it.

It's corrupt and dirty.

You know it too.

Apply this same logic to Trump using his authority as POTUS to facilitate opposition research..and all of a sudden we agree.
