There was a trial and the Supreme Court overruled the trial court and made the determination.

There was no finding of "guilty" as this was a civil issue (eligibility for running for office) and not a criminal issue.

I love how so many people downvote straight up facts.
Is it because you guys don't like the facts, don't understand the facts, or just don't like the person posting the facts.

Jesuz Christ, the frequency and nature of your posts legitimately suggests some sort of mental illness.

I'm not joking in the least, there is something legit wrong with you.

Just answer two questions with your honest opinion.

1. Do you think bringing this to the Supreme Court has any merit under the constitution. Also was the Colorado decision constitutional?

2. Do you believe what Colorado is trying to do is politically motivated by the opposition party of that state?

It originated in that state and their SoS was heavily involved.

The act of appealing (to either the COSC or USC) has merit, if that's what you're asking

No. I don't think 14A applies to the President and that's how they'll rule as the majority.

I think some Republicans are involved too, so not exclusively from the Democrats in CO.

No they said he isn't eligible b/c they adjudicated/ruled that he engaged in insurrection, based on the record from the trial court.

Ok so going back to what I said, is that not Colorado saying he's a bad dude so we're keeping him off the ballot?

See, this is the wishy-washy middle ground nonsense that I was talking about in my other post (which I don’t believe you read yet).

The non-fence sitter answer is “yes”.

The fact that there may be some Republicans who support this doesn’t in any way diminish that this was and is primarily a politically motivated ploy by the Democratic Party.

There is that “never take a side” viewpoint of yours.

I believe Republicans (or a Republican group) are literally named plaintiffs in the suit.

That wasn't the question. The bold part is changing the question.

There isn't even a side to take.

I'm just stating literal facts. How is that taking a "side"?
