Two Republicans just voted to defer the motion to next week. Tar and feather them.

Lecomb can address his concerns with an amendment. It’s not rocket science. Frick!

That only works if you actually care about what your "concern" is, and you aren't just fear mongering. If they wanted the truth they would've let the AG office representative speak on the matter.

Mike Johnson voted no on the actual bill. Small businesses in Pineville should crucify him and he should be removed from the Republican delegation.

I know this is lazy. But, can someone summarize where we are in full? Aka, what was actually voted on, etc?

Things will get super interesting now. House rules require the bill to lie over for a day, so the earliest a vote can be taken is Friday. Will the Governor do something between now and then so he can save some face?

I believe this resolution has to go to the house floor, then senate committee, then senate floor.

Rules can be suspended and a House vote can happen tomorrow. But will then need 3 days in the Senate. So the absolute earliest for final passage is Saturday.

This appears to be more of an ace in the hole for next week should JBE try to extend past May 15th.

This is what I’m pleased with.
So it takes 4-6 days to fulls pass both chambers? Fine. Have this bullet in the chamber ready to shoot if Monday JBE even hints that the SAHO could be extended.

IF it finally passes, the courts will decide. And that decision will come after we are already in Phase One or PHase Two.

Repubs better watch out. JUst about every poll shows the public favors shelter at home orders until the gates to President Trump's Phase ONe are opened.
