No, you're not.
You're one of those far left whackjobs who tries to pretend that he's an "independent" because you think it makes you appear above it all.
In actuality, you're just a filthy f*cking leftist moron.

Don't hate me for pointing out your hypocrisy.
...I'm still waiting...

This guy will quibble over synonyms and their different connotations but has no idea how to use "hypocrite" appropriately.

You're equating a group that lawfully applies to assemble with a group that exists for no reason but to attack those lawful assemblies.
Violence undermines whatever lawfulness previously existed. See James Alex Fields as a good example of this concept.

Speaking of pointing out things, why won't you answer my questions?

Which group followed the proper procedures to register and get permits for their demonstration?
Which group showed up without any of this?

The kardashians are brought up more.
Are they as important as 9-11?
Good lord.

Hi. I’m not an independent. Do not think we give a shite about your views and what we need to do to conform to you for votes.
If you help elect leftists, you go down with the ship too. That’s all you need to know.

What a cop out. The point remains that there would be no violence if antifa allowed those they disagree with to lawfully assemble without attacking them.

You cannot find one instance where I have condoned any violence. So thanks again for showing that big red arse of yours again.
For the record though, I support violence in the name of self defense for anyone.

Uh, no. The points is that "lawful assembly" doesn't serve as a justification for violence, which is still illegal even if you have a permit for your march, and even if the counterprotesters who show up to that march don't.
Weird that I have to explain this to you.

Slow change that Barack Obama promised in 2008?
Seriously?
You're talking about the same Obama who said "We will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth."
Slow change that promised to "heal" the entire Earth.

I believe that if you want to protest police brutality, it should not be a crime.
No one said it was a crime. This is a straw man.

I believe that it is the responsibility of white people to understand that black people live different lives than white people.
Who is objecting black people living their lives lawfully isa problem with white folks?

It is not a crime. As far as I know there has not been one single instance of a peaceful protestor arrested in America in the last 5 years because of the message of the protest. Can you provide a link otherwise?
There are consequences to your actions. The freedom of speech is the freedom to speak without threat of government prosecution. It is not the right to speak whatever you want without any consequences or push back from anyone.

believe that there is a racial gap between white people and black people
What is a racial gap? Are you saying that you believe white and black people are different races? Yes. They are.
quote:
believe that it is the responsibility of white people to understand that black people live different lives than white people.
That is legitimately one of the stupidest parroted talking points. Rich black people and rich white people live very similar lives. Poor black people and poor white people live very similar lives.
quote:
I believe that it is the responsibility of black people to control their communities and cities.
As a non-black lifelong resident of a majority black city with a majority black school board and city council and now mayor, I would like to invite you to think carefully about your words. It is the responsibility of everyone in a community, regardless of color creed or code, we should all work to improve our communities.
Saying black people should control their own communities and that they live different lives serves only to divide and distract and blind the public. It is short sited and shameful and ignorant.
quote:
I am the average American.
Yeah I bet. is this your theme song?
quote:
Not every American voted for Donald Trump and the Republicans.
Has anyone ever thought or promoted this idea? Why say it? What is your motivation?
quote:
Trump did not win the 2016 Popular Vote.
Can you explain to me why people keep parroting this point? I don't understand it. We have a dual-federalist representative republic. Not a democracy. This is set in place specifically so that the mob cannot always rule.
quote:
Independent voters like me hate the far-left and the far-right.
Conservative Republicans like me hate both of those things as well.
quote:
I criticize both ideologies equally and with rigor
I do not see a single left leaning criticism in your post.
