I am all for freedom of speech and freedom of expression.
I am also all for free market consequences resulting from said speech and expression.

The "crime" or "action" is irrelevant. Why should a dad lose his job because of his grown son's actions?
You mean sort of like how progressives are holding regular white folks today responsible for the actions of white folk 50-200 years ago.

Good answers gentlemen. We've had a rough day on here from the professed intellectual side of the aisle. They left it at home.

He lost A job... not his job. Shocked y'all don't know the difference. Nobody gets 100% of their bids anywho.
Oh look, the actual title of the article.

And again, I'm saying that this didn't happen.
Complete fabrication.

Why should some dumbass NFL'ers Dad be on the hook for his son's actions?
Because the person who was going to pay him money decided he would rather pay someone else?
Buck up sunshine. WHy should I be on the hook for the sins of past generations?

I'm calling bullshite on this story. I highly doubt that anyone contracting this guy even knows he has a son playing in the NFL, and if they do know it's because dad opens up his mouth and tells them. The only scenario I can see where this might have played out is one in which dad decides to show up on the job site Monday morning with his politics in tow and starts telling everyone all about his son being in the NFL and kneeling for the anthem. More than likely this didnt go over well with the person writing the checks for his services and said thanks but no thanks. It certainly wasn't because someone got mad at the NFL and decided to take it out on poor old dad.
