I feel bad for people who own businesses in that area.

My father who retired from STLPD, loves these channels.

After being on the job for so many years, i think there is a sense of normalcy hearing the police scanner, as he was part of it for all those years.

I'll reserve my sympathies for business owners who didn't vote in the current mayor, city council, etc.

The rest? Why should I worry about people getting exactly what they voted for?

Never listened to dispatch, how active is it usually in a city this large in the afternoon?

I've been listening for 10 minutes and haven't heard anything, but I'm not sure what's common.

Decent chunk of Zone 6 is Dekalb County (not Fulton). Some of it unincorporated. Would be kinda wild to have that kind of solidarity.

Then again looking at the specific non-Fulton neighborhoods, dispatch volume would normally be pretty low.

Just said something about "we're not going to be able to send anyone out." Then someone else said something about personnel. Let it burn

Zone 6 is referred to as the 6. It’s not a good zone to not have cops.

Since when? Zone 6 covers Candler Park, Inman Park, EAV and Grant Park. Are there some less than great areas (Edgewood, Reynoldstown), yes but all in all, outside of Buckhead, Zone 6 covers the most desirable residential part of Atlanta.
