My question is WHERE THE frick IS SESSIONS? There is nothing whatsoever stopping Sessions from looking into this dossier and then revealing what he's learned. Why is he keeping so quiet about it? Why does his own DoJ that he's now in charge of keep refusing to answer questions before Congress?
Something smells here. I don't know if there is something bigger they have to protect for national security reasons or whether Sessions just doesn't care.

If true, that would make the FBI a corrupt extension of the DNC, so no way they admit that... That would destroy the FBI as an investigative body. Imagine helping plant evidence on a President, to allow spying on him and his administration, and then using the fake planted info to bypass the espionage laws, and allow unmasking of that info by their Political opponents? Shite would get real quick, so I doubt they admit this unless they are forced to, and under duress....

It is not a complicated question, nor is it requisite in concealing national security secrets.
Yet no one, including Graham in the OP interview, is willing to say a bogus Dossier (for which we paid the Russians an undisclosed fortune) was or wasn't integral to the FISA request..
Sounds like the question is answered to me.....

All the DOJ has to do is open a formal Investigation into DOJ/FBI/Intel Community corruption and a coverup therein. Trump can order that; and should in due time. Then, ANY efforts by the Obama Deep State to hide or drag out the outing of Evidence...essentially becomes Obstruction. Game-set-match!

Yep Obama bringing down our great institutions like the FBI but none of which should come as a surprise as he did say he was going to fundamentally change our society.

The FBI and DOJ were all corrupt long before BHO came along. He just used them to their full potential against his enemies.

Yep. Trumps DOJ is full of Obama peeps still. They were wrong. Politico is not fake news. They are the outfit that uncovered the DNC collusion with the Ukraine.

I’ve thought about this and I think there is a plausible explanation. Typically investigations of this magnitude would run from the top down, but there is a serious problem with this strategy in regards to this situation. The problem is that all of this corruption is at the very top of the food chain in the FBI and DoJ and it appears to be extensive. So if you are Sessions, what would be your course of action in this situation? You gonna launch an investigation of all the corruption at the top with a bunch of low level investigators? Don’t forget these guys haven’t relinquished their power and have actively resisted congressional efforts to get to the bottom of it. Sessions is gonna need an extremely trusted core of investigators if he is ever going to tackle this, but with corruption so rampant, who can he really trust? If I’m guessing, I would say what we are witnessing is a deliberate effort to deliberately discredit and weaken a lot of the corrupt officials at the top of the doj and fbi so that a legitimate special counsel can be appointed. It can’t be done too early though or critics will successfully kill it by claiming it’s a Trump attempt to undermine Muller.

Why doesn't Trump declassify it, and then everyone would know what Trump already knows.
