Lincoln Project: Ron DeSantis is not ready for the big time

The man was a Yale Graduate, Harvard Law graduate, and he goes into the navy as a JAG???? Okay lol.
Gets deployed to “iraq” as advisor to commander of SEAL team In Fallujah. IYKYK. That’s basically an internship with a high ranking TV general. (Mighty fine resume booster)
Then immediately when he gets out of the navy he runs for US Rep. Then Trump gets him his seat as Gov. of FL when he was 39-40.
So a man that grew up middle class, in Jacksonville, worked to pay his way through Yale Undergrad and Harvard Law. Just to make 50k a year in the Navy? Not to retire, to then run for federal office?
There is a reason every president since Carter, minus Reagan and Trump, went to either Harvard or Yale. And they also went to Law school at one of the two. That doesn’t happen organically.

Gerald Ford (P), H.W Bush (P), Bill Clinton (P), Al Gore (VP and lost to GW), Joe Liberian (VP pick), George W. Bush(P), Dick Cheney(VP), Barrack Obama (P) Joe Biden (VP and P) went but dropped out), Mit Romney (R nominee), Hillary Clinton (D nominee) Tim Kaine (VP nominee).
Everyone listed above went to either Yale or Harvard Law School. There is clearly a “secret society” that grooms those selected to be future world leaders.
And it started around the time the Soviets and later the CCP infiltrated the highest levels of our universities, specifically Harvard and Yale.
