There're probably a lot of people there who believe their government is sincerely trying to help poor Ukrainian civilians. Just like lots of people here believe we're trying to sincerely help poor Ukrainian civilians. Too dumb to realize the universal truth of... all governments, everywhere... view human life as insignificant as grass that can easily be cut down. Governments only make moves on a foreign level, when benefits are to be had.
If governments took action because of feelings... then ISIS would've been destroyed a few days after it was created. Boko haram would've been destroyed several years ago.
