There's that brush again.
It's not even that...OP asks what people donate, gets 4 pages of answers, only to totally ignore it and THEN use the broad brush

Well he didn’t expect people to actually respond. Asking liberals a question on this board is stupid in the first place, OP just looking for his attaboy upvotes.

To be fair, it's only about a page of actual answers. The rest is just people chiming in to mock the ones who answered.

There were very few legitimate answers.

In your opinion, perhaps.

I'm proud of my donations.

There are very few "libs" on this board.

What did you expect?

How are taxes charity. You are forced with a gun to your head to pay up or else. Most of that goes to the bureaucracy. The rest to organizations which are highly controversial. You have absolutely no control over the allocation of said funds. That's not charity.

Thanks. Donating to charity isn't a right vs left issue, this was a weak attempt at a "gotcha" moment.

That's an oxymoron. Charity is voluntary.

I've been paying taxes my entire working life.

I have never had a gun put to my head.

What percentage of your check (outside of taxes) goes to help the less fortunate and those which cannot help themselves?
I give to Goodwill, and usually whenever I'm asked to round up or give a dollar at a store. I'll also use AmazonSmile whenever I remember so they can give their money to charity for me.

But I'm cheap and selfish so I don't go out of my way to donate unless asked and I don't give much.
