I donate my time. Attach any number you wish to it.
I'm sure your time fills the belly of the hungry just the same as a cart full of groceries would.

My wife and I (Center-Left Dems since the 1970s) tithe to our church and that's 10% of our gross income not net. I did my taxes back in February and we donated 14% of our gross income to charitable causes. That percentage is pretty steady over the past decades.

Liberals don't give to charity, and generally speaking they don't pay any income tax either. They are mostly all either welfare scum or rich assholes who find every loophole they can to make sure they have zero tax liability and in either case they will still bitch that you need to pay your "fair share"

(Conspicuously fails to mention whether he personally donates any money or time to anything)

Volunteers are a critical part of non-profits. For instance, I did work for a non-profit. They were paying someone $175/hr to do the same work. I did in the neighborhood of 40 hours of work for them. My donation of time was like a $7,000 savings for them.
Furthermore, I actually showed where the consulting firm was ripping them off, and saved them more $$.

I throw your mother the D a few times a year. Is that what you're looking for?

The 7.5% from FICA is good enough.

So far this year I have donated $5,000 to outreach activities through our parish, three loads of donations to Goodwill, and about 50 hours of personal effort time to support two local outreach organizations.
None of that is a "liberal" obligation. Everyone has the personal obligation to make this a better place.

I gave specifics yesterday in another thread , but don't mind repeating.
My wife and I gave $1K to Ronald McDonald House last year. But we also have two officially adopted children that we are raising , and we just recently took two more foster kids in.
As for where we volunteer our time. Yes let me start
I am on my local school board
I am a Scout leader in the boy scouts
My wife is a girl scouts leader
I coach American Legion baseball, and youth soccer
My wife coaches soccer
I am heavily involved in the various charities involving disabled vets
I teach self defense classes for free at our local community center once a week
My wife cooks meals for a local charity that delivers to the needy once a week.
Oh, and we somehow manage to find the time to volunteer at a local big cat rescue park when we can

I'd guess roughly 8-10% goes to the local Shriners (me) and PAWS (wife)

This is a personal question and absolutely none of your business. Why don’t you just ask for my SSN?
And then to sit back in your high and righty tower and act like you’ve made a point! You’re a complete joke.
PS I’ve always heard conservatives are more generous than liberals in donations, but they make up for this good behavior in ways you just illustrated perfectly.

I gave 15% of my income to church / local children's hospital / and big brothers big sister last year. This year I have not given any, as giving doesn't help me on my taxes anymore thanks to the new tax law. (ETA: though I am looking into some options going forward, but probably just the standard 10% to my church and that's it)
Then again I'm also not a "libs"

Lets see:
- just gave 200 to St Jude's hospital on Facebook.
- just gave $2,300 to a friend starting an advocacy group for handicapped children in schools. He wants to help less-fortunate parents get their children what they need when the school board doesn't help as much.
- I use as many non-profit companies as I can and do benefits for them at my bars. During free we can Austin we did Charity week and raised over $4,000 for three different charities.
- I vote for politicians that try to help set up Social programs the draw money automatically from the American public. We do live in a community as much as conservatives like to pretend like they live all alone.
I guess that I'm wondering why you started this and what you were hoping to accomplish. Most liberal people tend to vote for having more of their taxes taken away to take care of more people so I'm pretty sure your point is lost there.

My few liberal friends say that they give to the government and let them decide Sorry pal, that's not giving, that's confiscation. They still look at it as "giving".
I'm utlra conservative, gun totting christian, I give 10% to the church and offerings above the ten%
Oh, and I STILL get confiscated by the guberment

They don’t believe in voluntarily giving.
But if liberals vote for people to take their money away from them then that is voluntary. Kind of a dumb post on your part. The problem is that conservatives and Libertarians alike think of the government as somehow not American or separate from society when it is really one in the same. It's something that liberals understand and understand how to wield it

What about you? What the frick do you do? I answered my question so... you know what I think? I think you're an angry low-class blue collar worker that got brainwashed by a bunch of billionaires that your money is being stolen from you. Now you're mad and you're taking it out on liberals. What a fig
