Liberals Up In Arms About New Trump Statue

Pastor Mark Burns presided over the dedication of “Don Colossus,” a 22-foot gold-leaf statue depicting Donald Trump with his fist raised, at Trump National Doral Miami. Commissioned by cryptocurrency investors associated with the $PATRIOT memecoin and sculpted by Alan Cottrill, the statue reportedly cost about $450,000.
The faith leaders support Trump as a principled, faith-driven leader and builder of people and community. The artwork is intended to symbolize Trump's defiance following the July 2024 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.
But Liberals, of course, immediately expressed their outrage. All of a sudden everyone is quoting scripture. Invoking "golden calf" Biblical references.
Really hypocritical, given the financial impact the Obama Presidential Center has on Chicago and the people of Illinois in terms being on the hook for hundreds of millions in related public infrastructure costs (roads, parks, transit upgrades in Jackson Park).

Agreed. I voted for Trump but he’s not a faith driven person. He gets things done but he wants all the glory even when he’s not the one who accomplished it.
