The irony of this situation is that the lady they were yelling at also participated in BLM marches and pretty much agrees with all of that. But she wasn’t going to let them force her do that performative bullshite. Good for her.

There are certain situations where demanding strangers to declare “black power” might be perfectly reasonable. I’ll reserve judgement until the facts come out.

I consider myself left and NO I don’t agree with that.
I have zero problem with anyone having a platform or belief regardless of what it is (provided it isn’t hurting a anyone)However I do not believe in forcing people to act or believe a certain way.
This is a democracy and our country should be for the people. State you platform and beliefs, have non-violent and peaceful gatherings and protest if needed. Under zero circumstances should you harass anyone or insult them because they believe differently.
End of the day if the people agree with your platform they will vote people in office with those same beliefs and values.
I am 100% against what people like them are doing. Plenty of outlets available to get the message out to the masses without having to resort to bullying and intimidation
