For years the American people have been indoctrinated to believe "big oil is bad" and it is destroying the environment. Not one time have we ever heard "big tech is bad". Yet, with all of this new tech why have there not been any new refineries built in the United States of America?

From my understanding, Ukraine destroying diesel refineries in Russia accounts for 60% of the fuel price increase.
And yes, any military activity in the middle east also makes fuel prices go up. So the Iran stuff will raise prices as well
Recently shuttered refineries in California is also halping cause the rise in fuel prices.
