Indeed Putin is probably laughing his arse off at the inability of our country to self govern. Not to quibble but he is looking for not for a Director of National Intelligence but a National Security Advisor. The former requires Senate approval and later does not. His current DNI is acting as Trump likely can't get a DNI confirmed any time soon.
