At his heart, and even absent dementia, Biden is just a really dumb guy - a complete dullard who hasn’t had an interesting or original thought in 50 years. Even in his most lucid moments now, that’s all you’re really going to ever get from him.

Clearly you’ve never been around an addict. They will do anything to get their fix: rob you, kill you, prostitution, etc.

AND NOW, we get 10-11 days of nonstop Trump rallies while Sleepy Joe does what? If Joe stays in the basement down the stretch, it's a really bad look, especially contrasted with President Trump making multiple campaign stops every day. OTOH, if Joe does hit the campaign trail 1) speaking to 10-50 people is bad optics, and 2) If Joe gets worn out from campaigning, will the look of a tired old man really impress the voters? Not to mention all the potential gaffes.

On the Trump side, it sure seems very apparent that it's masterful strategizing and skilled execution. And IMO it ain't by accident. Good times.

Of course just drug addicted people guilty only of non-violent aka non-aggravated crimes don't belong in prison, UNLESS they're perhaps on their 3rd or so conviction of same. But a big problem out there is being drug addicted very often accompanies other types of convictions/crimes like property crimes or crimes of violence. In fact, that's more often than not the case.
In any event, most prison systems do offer addiction rehabilitation programs and successful completion of such typically works to shave some time off the sentence.
