Letter from heads of Jerusalem churches to President Trump

Just seeing a lot of chatter about how previous president's failed to follow through on what Trump just did, and this might be a reason why.

If people want to keep Jerusalem as an international city or open city, they need to also go after the Palestinians who recognize East Jerusalem as their capital as much as they go after Israel for wanting all of Jerusalem as their capital.

The only argument that people have is if you recognize the capital that Israel claims that will cause bombings. I mean doesn't that just sound completely crazy? Recognizing what already is reality will cause a war. how about a strongly worded letter to Palestine?

This whole thing is so goddam stupid.
Liberals are acting like we were on the cusp of peace and a Palestinian state. This is twice now that Trump echoes Democrat policy and dems do a complete about face on it just to be assholes.

There's been so much progress towards ME peace over the decades. Why disrupt what's not working this time, nor last time, nor the times before that? We should keep chasing our tail as a united global entity of course.
If we keep doing the same thing over and over for another 50 or 75 or 10,000 years I'm sure we'll get a different result one of these days.

Amazing that a group of Christian leaders who can't come to agreement to take down a ladder that has been standing for centuries ( Immovable Ladder) can in a couple of days pop off about a decision made in the 90's and just now being implemented.

IMO what these people fail to understand is the people that adhere to Islam want you dead and will never be satisfied until you are dead. Give them a little bit of Jerusalem, they want more and will plead with violence. Islam is a warped ideology born out of violence and its many decrepit forms. It's of the devil. Islam can never be pacified. Even if Islam conquered the world they would turn on each other for more tyranny, death and destruction.
There is no freedom in Islam. Only submission.
