Not that I actually care about the breakdown because bottom line...........she doesn't look obviously anything. And, if you forced me to guess based solely on picture, black wouldn't be my first choice. Her small eyes and skin tone would tend to make me think Asian influence. Yeah. I'd be wrong. Which, just goes to show that visually, people can fool ya. So, the only way to know is to ACTUALLY know.
And, given the fact that knowing the parentage of staffers........even high ranking staffers in the WH ain't exactly something most people know..............

First, we know she was a high-level Obama staffer. Second, we know her surname, which is hardly Southeast Asian or Filipino. Third, we know that she is a long-time Obama confidante, going back to his time in the Illinois legislature. Last, the press routinely described her as African American.
You and I do not always agree, but I acknowledge that you pay attention to politics and are bright enough to understand them (unlike many). I have real difficulty accepting that you had no idea of her African ancestry.
EDIT: As an aside, I actually thought The Planet of the Apes reference was mildly humorous. In fact, I was the first to post a photo of Helena Bonham Carter in full make up, as opposed to the early photos of Kim Hunter.

I wasn't breaking anything but I damn sure know his comments have not been treated with the same amount of outrage and it is eons apart in terms of the amount of outrage and also the magnitude of what he said vs what Roseanne said. Why are we not hearing about his comments on every news break we hear? That was vile and dangerous yet all we hear are crickets in reply. He is enough of a celebrity to where this should be front page news.

Look, there's no doubt that there is rampant hypocrisy on the left. However, certainly you don't need it explained to you why it's particularly fraught to call a black person an ape.

When I hear MUSLIM brotherhood I don't typically think of women. Islam isn't exactly known for holding women in high esteem. The fact that she interjected the Muslim brotherhood portion into the insult should tell you that she did not in fact think that she was white. If you're dumb enough to believe her I wouldn't be terribly shocked but I'm thinking you're just being dishonest as usual.
