Yeah I was never disputing its effects... just pointing out that the ivermectin some folks are taking comes direct from the ag store

You don’t know what you’re pointing out. You don’t have a cogent argument that survives a second post.

Third, as earlier, available evidence suggests that levels of ivermectin with meaningful activity against SARS-CoV-2 would not be achieved without extraordinary, potentially toxic increases in ivermectin dosing levels in humans.

I just enjoyed you admitting you had no idea how many tubes of horse paste one would have to consume to get to a toxic dose for this ultra dangerous drug.
Another retard that gets way too much attention on this board.
On page one he calls anyone that uses it a horse paste sniffer. So typical of smug groomers. As usual, he can't back up any insults and unfortunately the poliboard entertains this sociopath for pages upon pages.

And you are doing what exactly?

I’m highlighting that you’re copy/pasting without understanding what the frick you’re posting. I’m low key embarrassing you. You’re just too dumb to notice.

Their credibility went down the toilet with covid. They are more concerned with government scams than actually curing anything.

I think I've made a reasoned argument with sources, but I haven't seen much out of you besides simple contradictions and opinions, no wonder you couldn't do the math earlier haha

Serious question: Have you ever met a progressive that is not proud of their stupidity? I haven't.

They don’t understand that the commonly accepted wisdom is just a gnostic repository of religious beliefs. He’s a Covidian who hasn’t grasped that no one is worshipping at that altar anymore.
He gets the same endorphin feedback from posting a link to a study about Ivermectin’s ineffectiveness in treating Covid that a Christian might get from reciting the Nicene creed.

quote:I bolded the important words here. It doesn't say people who oversee approvals, etc. were eliminated, but jobs at those offices. They could be janitors for the offices for all we know.
Jobs were eliminated at offices overseeing the approval of new drugs, providing health insurance and responding to infectious disease outbreaks.
In regard to drug approvals, the article says, "Andrew Nixon, a spokesperson at HHS, has said the cuts will affect neither Medicare or Medicaid services nor the FDA’s review of drugs, medical devices and foods."
So in essence, we have an article saying that they are looking to cut 10,000 full-time jobs, and decrease the total number of jobs from 82,000 to 62,000 (that's still a lot of employees), including "cuts to divisions responsible for tackling HIV, improving minority health and preventing injury, such as gun violence", and that critical roles such as reviewing new drugs will be moved to another division or will be unaffected.
So as I said initially, our federal health agencies are full of bloated bureaucracy like all other agencies.

The FDA got wiped out in these cuts. That agency barely exists at this point. Is there anybody left to do these reviews?
I get that there were issues with the leadership and direction of the FDA, the CDC, and the NIH, but this was total destruction of those agencies. Not sure that's a good thing.
Needed a scalpel to take out the decision makers at the top, not a flame thrower to the entire thing.

I’m super worried that the FDA will just become a rubber stamps for big Pharma. Aren’t you?

Oh man.... yeah that sounds great til you add up the expense of treating disease/protecting us from another covid style pandemic... this is pennywise and pound foolish
Where do you "living in fear" people come from? Jesus they are Laying off 10, 000 people just showed how much fat these agencies have but yet we are all going to die. Didn't realize Democrats and their feeling were so rampant in this country. You probably still wear a mask.

LONG OVERDUE.
For what these hucksters did to our country during Covid, they should be losing their freedom, not just their jobs.

You have no idea if this is true, so don't project.
The article says that the HHS employees losing jobs are mostly form IT, Finance and HR positions. And as far as the CDC, why in yor mind do you penalize everybody who works there because of what the Director did during Covid?
