No one said he shouldn't be arrested. 7 shots after the gun was removed is excessive and lack of training.

So when was he supposed to tell the ICE agents he was armed...after he was peppered sprayed in the face without warning, during the attack by six ICE agents, when one that was repeatedly smashing him in the face, or when survival mode kicked in and he was struggling to defend himself. Would the narrative had been different if ICE had killed a fellow LEO lawfully carrying a weapon vice a nurse.

Weapon - Opportunity - Action
Classic scenario right here.
LE of any flavor will have trained for this gun / gun-grab scenario.
Somebody yell gun or gun-grab the shite is about to go down.

Except we go all the time without police shooting someone just because they find a gun on him. Again, he never reached for the gun. Because police are TRAINED. These idiot ICE agents are dumber than dumb dropouts who want to be pretend army. They are hired goons who are afraid to show their faces. And yes, boot lickers will defend them here as always saying they dont' want to be doxed, yet there are no instances of an ICE agent being doxed and killed...not a single one, it is a made up fear.

If you knew the LEOs that I know, your attitude would not be so cavalier. They will "F" you up on on the drop of a dime and likely be the one that dropped it. There would be no remorse, sympathy, empathy, or pity...just laughter at the bar afterwards when recounting to his friends how he kicked your butt for challenging his authority.

good to know how everyone on here thinks the police should shoot anyone that they see has a gun. I hope you feel that way if you ever carry outside your house.
1) Everyone should do a ride along and go through a use of force simulator. It’s eye opening, especially for situations like this.
2) I would do everything I could to avoid an altercation with federal agents in a chaotic atmosphere like Minneapolis, but if I did, I’d like to think that the first thing I would do is tell them that I have a firearm and ask them how they’d like to get it off of me to avoid a problem.

Police 101
See gun, remove gun, then shoot the shite out of the person
Are y’all really arguing this is protocol?

Fully agree, ICE is giving police a bad name and making a hard job even harder.

Of course some queer will be like "we'll they weren't trained right " or "they're didnt do it right" unhelpful statements with no fricking follow up.

Here's the thing. LE is trained to shoot until the threat is no longer a threat. The whole key to this is to prevent the cascade of events that starts out with you larping as some savior of society and ends with you bleeding out in front of a doughnut shop. Personally, I have been able to prevent this cascade in my own life for 65 years. It's not hard.

Once the gun was removed from him wouldn’t that be removing the threat?
Also, what exactly gave the agent the legal right or power to shove the woman which started everything ? The woman is across the street blowing a whistle.

It all works out well on paper. I suspect in the real world today, the ICE officers that shot the idiot didn't realize he had been disarmed.
