This is a ridiculous claim. The export market is Europe, and that is who sanctioned Russian products first.
For Venezuela, that is also a ridiculous claim from someone who doesn't know shiited from shinola or just a run of the mill liar. It's Venezuelans benefitting in the drilling and production. While all oil sales are paid to the US Treasury and every swinging dick involved in each transaction is in the contracts, extremely transparent. Three companies screwed over by Chavez, all Venezuelan are also given oil at a discount to get partial payment of what is owed them. I was close to being part of one of those deals. The Venezuelan company is allowed 19 million barrels of oil per year at a $12 discount to Brent. The going rate from Chevron is a discount of $8 per barrel to Brent.
Stupid phuckers always make wild claims. They are no different than Tucker the Stupid Phucker.
Edit - FTR, Trump lile 99% of the public does not understand crude oil and refining. A diesel refinery? Gimme a break.

Is Europe still buying Russian gas?

Not by pipeline but UK has bought LNG

These two statements have nothing to do with each other. You're confused and need to re-read the thread. The author is talking about the attempted distressed and extremely lucrative purchase of Lukoil by the Kuchner/Witkoff group. The only mention of sanctions is the plan to get sanctions on Lukoil dropped after purchase thereby giving Putin a sanction-free market for his crude oil. A plan in which Trump is totally complicit.
As the Lukoil refineries and logistics are getting hit constantly by the Ukrainians, the potential buyers are losing the value of their assets before they even get to complete the deal.
The entire point of the article is that Trump is complaining about the Ukrainians hitting Russian refineries not because as he says it is causing "diesel shortages" but because it is costing his son-in-law and close friend the value of their deal and thus destroying the plan to open Russian crude oil to markets sanction-free.
Now, if you want to talk about a "ridiculous claim", we can use your statement that Venezuelan oil sales are "extremely transparent". Statements like that would make a great stand-up comedy routine.

Huge news if true. Just last week Kyiv was reporting that they were only able to knock down 30% of the jet-powered Gerans. This is 87%. We'll wait for confirmation.

Ukraine’s additional air defense measures may be taking effect. Monitoring channels claim that only about 4 of more than 30 jet-powered Shaheds sent toward central Ukraine, particularly Kyiv and the surrounding region, reached their destinations today. They also claim more than 130 conventional piston-powered drones were completely destroyed. Ukraine’s Air Force has not yet officially confirmed these figures.

Amazing that those wizards in the Russian Ministry of Finance still find funding for items like this. Just amazing.

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. You, and Trump do not understand crude oil and refining markets. How many refineries in Europe are prepping to reopen? Do you have an idea? I do. It looks that Libya may finally be stabilizing, which means new refineries with easier to refine crude oil than Bakken or Permian. A couple of shuttle tankers to Europe is all that will be needed to be more competitive than from anywhere else.

Once again, your statement here has zero relationship with the original post. I get it, you're angry at seeing Trump get caught lying about another of his attempted corrupt deals with Russia. But this has nothing to do with crude markets, EU refinery capacity, EU sanctions, Venezuela or any other of your distractions from the facts of the original post.
The OP is solely focused on the attempt by the Trump family to purchase a major Russian oil company. The price was to be offered at (highly) distressed levels. In turn for this, Trump would drop sanctions on that company, thus allowing that newly-purchased oil company to become a legal conduit for Russian oil sales.
Seeing that the Ukrainians were quite literally blowing up their deal weekly, Trump is trying to get them to stop by lying that these attacks are the reason diesel prices are so high. But diesel prices are not why he wants Ukraine to stop hitting the Russian - specifically Lukoil - refineries. It's his precious backdoor corrupt deal.
Now... tell us why this is all wrong because distillation towers are too complex to understand or Platt's only trades pipeline parcels or the moon is made of Swiss cheese. Anything to confuse the actual issue of - yet again - corruption in the White House.
TLDR? Boys, one to five downvotes are rookie numbers. This time, put your backs into it and let's get double digits. You can do it.

Closing Russian airports have taken on added value recently, especially to traffic from Irkutsk.

The facility, operated by Transneft subsidiary Mostransnefteprodukt, is a key oil products storage and distribution hub with 250,000 m³ of tank capacity for gasoline, diesel and aviation kerosene.
It is part of the Moscow oil products pipeline network and is connected to fuel supply infrastructure serving Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo airports.

Ukraine’s military has shown a homemade air defense system built by bolting American anti-tank missiles onto a Rada radar and welding the whole thing to a Dutch army truck.

STASH is an improvised counter-drone system built around the AGM-114L Longbow Hellfire, an American air-to-ground missile originally designed to destroy tanks and armored vehicles from helicopters and aircraft, repurposed here to intercept airborne threats instead.
What makes the Longbow variant specifically useful for this mission is its guidance system, a millimeter-wave active radar seeker that lets the missile find and lock onto a target on its own after launch, giving the weapon genuine fire-and-forget capability rather than requiring a laser designator to keep tracking the target throughout the engagement, a critical advantage when trying to hit a small, fast-moving drone under time pressure.
