Twice now with the name calling. In the words of Capt. Hook (D. Hoffman): "Bad Form".
I didn't say you're Russian. I don't know if you are or you aren't, and I don't care one way or the other. There's no way for me to know that for sure.
Why do you care if anyone on an anonymous message board thinks you're Russian anyway?
And in your adherence to truth, why do you put Ukraine in quotations?

On the night of September 12, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a key Russian defense industry facility—"Atlant Aero" in Taganrog. "Atlant Aero" handles the full cycle of design, manufacturing, and testing for "Molniya" (Lightning) strike-reconnaissance UAVs, as well as components for "Orion" UAVs.
A low-quality satellite image shows at least three hits on various workshops and warehouse facilities at the plant. As a bonus, the Defense Forces destroyed a fuel storage tank at the airfield. A fire was also observed in the area of ??S-400 positions—this detail requires further verification.

Sixth time this refinery has been hit.
quote:
Ukrainian attack drones struck the Slavyansk-EKO oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Russia's Krasnodar region, this morning, with multiple hits reported and the facility set on fire. FIRMS detected a large blaze at the refinery.
The facility has a processing capacity of about 5.2 million tonnes of feedstock per year, or roughly 100,000 barrels per day, accounting for around 9% of refining capacity in Russia's Southern Federal District.

On the night of September 11, the Volgogradpromproekt plant came under missile attack. — a Russian specialty chemical enterprise that manufactures organophosphorus compounds, flame retardants, resins, and other chemical components for industry.
The company's products are used, in particular, in Russia's aviation, shipbuilding, and specialized industrial sectors.
One of the FP-5 missiles completely destroyed a 20x15-meter section of the main workshop.

Just that rare unicorn in the wild, a trailer trash China/hamas supporter. How do your neighbors in the trailer park feel about you flying the Chicom flag?

If tweet fails to load, click here. "Let him go after targets, but not diesel fuel," Trump said. He added that the US has already spoken to Zelensky about the issue: "There are plenty of other targets. Don't hit diesel fuel, because that's hurting the world." #Ukraine

You sure seem to want to talk about it a lot for someone who doesn't care and doesn't even have an opinion on it supposedly

Why do you have ethnic grievances against the Russians when it was ethnic Ukrainians who burned down your ancestor’s village?

I am philosophically opposed to the United States being involved in foreign entanglements. We have enough problems we don’t need to be involved with any of this shite. The utter hubris of the United States getting involved in a war with Russia east of the Dnieper is appalling to me.

ISW weighs in on the big successes Ukraine is seeing in the Lyman area. Lengthly report today. Ukraine gains offset all Russian gains this season.
ISW reports Ukraine successes around Lyman
quote:
Key Takeaways
Ukrainian forces in late 2025 and throughout 2026 have successfully contested the initiative at both the strategic and operational levels for the first time since the August 2024 Kursk Offensive.
Ukrainian successes in eliminating the Russian salient north of Lyman over the past several months have disrupted the Russian military command’s plans to conduct a wide encirclement of the Fortress Belt in Donetsk Oblast from the Lyman and Dobropillya areas.
The Russian military command will likely need to reassess its campaign designs for the southern and northern flanks of the Fortress Belt given the elimination of its salient north of Lyman and particularly if Ukrainian forces are able to fully push Russian forces back to the Zherebets River and use the canalizing terrain to create a stable defensive line. Many Russian milbloggers are acknowledging that Ukrainian forces have largely eliminated the Russian salient north of Lyman and that fighting is mainly ongoing along the Zherebets River in the area.
Russian generals have reportedly asked Russian President Vladimir Putin for an additional 800,000 troops to sustain and likely expand Russian offensive operations in the face of enormous Russian casualty rates. Russia does not have the training and administrative capabilities to absorb, integrate, and train 800,000 recruits at one time, particularly if Russian authorities try to do so alongside the semi-annual conscription cycle that normally starts in October.
The increasing Russian casualty rates and declining recruitment rate will likely force Russia to conduct some form of mobilization in the near term, but the type and scope of mobilization Putin may choose is unclear at this time.
The Russian General Staff likely wants to use the additional 800,000 troops to implement its offensive plans throughout the front rather than only in Donetsk, and the scope of any potential mobilization likely depends on what operations Putin authorizes.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continues to support a future trilateral Ukrainian-Russian-US meeting and to suggest efforts to restart peace talks with Russia.
Ukraine’s ongoing long-range strike campaign and Western sanctions are actively preventing the Russian oil industry from recovering its processing capacity and oil exports.
Neither Russian nor Ukrainian forces advanced on September 11.

But yet you take up for Russia who are involved in wars all over the world.
You can be an isolationist and not back Russia.

Philosophically, I am not pro Russia, I am anti- US and Western involvement in Ukraine. Two different things. In terms of intellectual interest in the study of war, I find the Russian side more interesting because the “Kyiv” regime’s theory of victory seems to be to extort maximum western money through terror attacks and social media poasting while Russia is engaged in a more traditional infantry war that provides more intellectual enjoyment to me.

People have been beating the drum for Europe to get more involved in their defense, but you oppose Europe’s involvement? That is supporting Russian aggression and their goals to recreate the USSR.

So you support the traditional Russian strategy of throwing 1000s of men against staunch defenses because it’s intellectually stimulating?
I don’t know what to say.

Yeah I'd be curious about some clarification on this, too.
By western does he mean Anti-NATO involvement? Then I would agree. But if he's saying for example that France should not help Ukriane even if their government and voters find it advantageous for them to, I would not agree.
