Hi

Holy shite. Three years banned for being a paid Russian troll farm bot. And this is the best you can do for a comeback post?

Come on, man.

Last we heard from you, Ukraine was out of men and weapons and further resistance was pointless. Russian victory was imminent.

Now can you give us an update on how everything is going. From the Russian perspective of course.

Were Iranian weapons heading to Russia, or were Russian weapons heading to Iran?

The two wars have officially merged. Iran says a Ukrainian drone attack on its ship in the Caspian has killed a sailor. Ukraine earlier said it was targeting vessels ferrying arms between Russia and Iran on the Caspian Sea.

Maybe the merger came earlier when Iran sold the first Shahed drones to Russia for use against Ukraine.

We sometimes forget that Iran developed and produced the first effective modern war drone. When they were first used against Ukraine, the Ukrainians had no effective defense against them. However, Russians being Russians, they did not innovate beyond buying the Shahed. Meanwhile Ukraine went off into the future and now dominates the drone space.

I have read elsewhere that Iran has ordered new MANPADS, and also drone component upgrades from Russia.

The IRGC threatening Ukraine and launching missiles at them could get the goat frickers to find out what Ukrainian drones can do.

If it's a softball it seems like you already know the answer.

Which begs the question, why make the statement in the first place if you know it's not accurate and easily disproven?

Disagree. The two wars couldn’t be more different. One involves a former superpower waging a war of choice it can’t win, and the other one is in Ukraine.

Are you implying Ukranian drones can do anything that America can't do itself?

Eh, basically when we launched the decapitation strikes on Iran we killed so much of their leadership that it created a power vacuum that still hasn't been filled. We have been negotiating with a group with the *most* power in the country, but not *all* of the power in the country.

I fully believe that the instances where we have had a deal in place and then Iran launches something at us hours later that it's a rouge element within the Iranian "government". But the Iranians can't admit that they don't have control over everything, so here we are.

If this is the situation, then why weren't we prepared for it? Seems like a logical extension of our actions.

Probably has something to do with a fox news personality running the military.

Cleaning up after yesterday's attack. This is what happens when you have no air defense.

By the way, this refinery is over 2,000km from Ukraine, east of the Urals. That's 2000km of no air defense.

Edited to add: Yesterday's stike was aimed in part to take out the ELOU-AT-3 primary crude processing unit, but instead struck the refinery's tank farm. This unit could have been today's target.

"131,000 killed and almost 93,000 wounded".

Between the meat assaults, terrible medical care in the field and the growing Ukrainian drone campaign against individual Russian soldiers, this war has flipped the normal killed/wounded ratio.

And the Russians plan to have a general mobilization for more of the same.

quote:

We have comprehensive intelligence reports on Russia’s plans for the fall. Putin is preparing the conditions for expanding mobilization. His casualty figures speak for themselves. In less than seven months this year, 221,000 people have joined the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces. During the same period, Russian casualties have amounted to nearly 225,500, among them 131,000 killed and almost 93,000 wounded. A significant share of those wounds are severe, as frontline medical care in Russia is catastrophically poor.

Putin is preparing to simply send more Russians to war. He disguises it with different words and signals, but that is what he is preparing to do. It is crucial that, together with our partners, we exert enough pressure on Russia so that the idea of ending this aggression becomes the dominant one – the idea of peace, not of another Russian mobilization.

131,000 killed in under seven months. That is a killed-to-wounded ratio of roughly 1.4 to 1, not the 1 to 3 you see in functional armies. Moscovian frontline medicine is so bad that wounded become dead at double the normal rate. The meat grinder is not just fast, it is broken.

And these numbers are based on what, exactly?

Based on Russian own reporting and other verified sources, some of which, including original documents, we publish over time in our Substack file repository for paid subscribers

This [casualty rate] closely matches Frontelligence Insight's numbers and is highly likely to be accurate.
quote:

I think the AFU exaggerated Russian losses in the past, especially since confirming casualties was much more difficult before the widespread use of drones. Reporting and confirmation has seriously improved.

Totally predictable. The new Lindsey Graham sanctions bill must be getting serious traction. Every time the US Congress gets close to passing this sanctions bill, Putin starts asking for negotiations and cease fire proposals. Anything to delay the proceedings.

We've seen it before multiple times. Once the bill is derailed, it will be back to normal for the Russian war effort.

This is just legalizing a practice that has been employed for months now. And will certainly encourage more of the same.

There is very little true capitalist liquidity left in the Russian economy now, and the destruction of the Wildberrie e-commerce marketplace has removed a great deal more. Estimates of physical losses alone are in the billions of rubles. But now that the entire system is off line, that cost will be much greater - trillions of rubles.

Due to a centralized logistics network, even the Wildberrie locations that have not been hit are now locked down and ordering is a hopeless knot as there is no replacement for the now-sanctions removed Google Play and App Store.
quote:

Wildberries has finally "collapsed." The model on which the marketplace operated—complete centralization of all processes and reliance on unlimited administrative resources through co-owners who are top government officials—turned out to be unsustainable under "stress" even without drone strikes.

Yesterday, the WB-bank fell under European Union sanctions, and now Google Play and App Store must remove the entire Wildberries app. It turns out that, as part of this very centralization, the WB-bank simply doesn't have a separate app—it's integrated into the main marketplace app.

The WB logistics network is on the brink of collapse because, as previously reported by VChK-OGPU and LINK , it was built on a fully centralized infrastructure. The marketplace bet on mega-warehouses that allowed centralizing goods flows, reducing unit logistics costs, and strengthening control over sellers. After drones destroyed several of these mega-warehouses, the entire logistics system began to fall apart.

In keeping with good tradition, WB has shifted all logistics costs onto the shoulders of sellers. So, one seller sold goods worth 131 thousand rubles but, due to the "sky-high" logistics costs, received... 20 thousand rubles. However, even these pennies can't be withdrawn (just like the paltry compensations for burned goods)—WB unexpectedly disabled the early withdrawal function.

It gets worse. If you can handle the depression of all the Wildberrie sellers, here's another list of their current predicament.
quote:

«Guess I'll go buy myself some bread with the money from WB. Oh, wait. Yeah. Withdrawing that money is prohibited»

TLDR? Wildberrie management has no fricks to give.
