Haven't shared a map in a while so here we go. Ukraine making some advances in the south it seems. Russia seems to be trying to push hard into Lyman and making another big push around 10 miles southwest of Sloviansk. If I had to guess I would say this is them wanting to be able to eventually attack Sloviansk from two directions, the northwest and southwest of the city. But the Russians have rarely done a strategy that makes the most sense so who really knows what the plan is

quote:40% of Russia's oil export capcity is offline oilprice.com
The drone attacks have now hit Russia's oil loadings for exports, with Reuters calculations suggesting that as much as 40% of Russia's oil export capacity is currently offline, factoring in port outages, pipeline issues, and tanker-related disruptions.
The disruption means Russia cannot take full advantage of the spike in oil prices and its now unsanctioned oil that is wanted again in its key market India. It also means that supply of Russian oil is disrupted at a time of the biggest oil supply disruption occurring with the de facto closure of the Strait of Hormuz in the Middle East.

So the price going up helps, but not as much as it normally would.

Russia continues to aid Iran in the war against the US; meanwhile Ukraine continued to counterattack in the South and to impact the Russian oil industry as the UK stops Russian oil on the high seas.

Key Takeaways
Russia continues to expand its military cooperation with Iran to facilitate Iranian strikes on US and Israeli forces in the Middle East.
Ukrainian counterattacks continue to make gains in southern Ukraine, creating operational and strategic effects against Russian forces going into the Spring-Summer 2026 offensive against the Fortress Belt. Russian forces are unlikely to seize Ukraine’s Fortress Belt in 2026.
The United Kingdom (UK) government affirmed its commitment to police sanctioned vessels in UK waters, while Kremlin officials continue to threaten the use of military force to aid Russian sanction-evading ships.
Ukrainian drone strikes and Western seizures of Russian oil tankers are having significant impacts on Russian oil export revenues.
Ukrainian forces recently advanced in the Oleksandrivka direction, in western Zaporizhia Oblast, and in northern Kharkiv Oblast. Russian forces recently advanced in the Slovyansk direction and in the Pokrovsk direction and infiltrated in the Kupyansk direction.
Ukrainian forces continued their long-range strike campaign against Russian oil infrastructure near the Baltic Sea. Russian forces launched 153 drones against Ukraine.

The Ukrainians are actively helping us, saving the lives of our own troops, and the Trump administration is still trying to pin him losing in 2020 on them.
Jesus Christ this administration sucks.

Well, we can agree on that at least.

Reality: THEY'RE BOTH RUNNING OUT OF MONEY BECAUSE ITS A DAMN WAR.
The difference is Ukraine has not only has the largest combined economy in the world, the EU, backing them they've got hundreds of billions in frozen Russian assets that's going to be used in their defense.
So the advantage goes to the Ukraine.

The Russians aren't running out of AD missiles, they never had adequate AD coverage in the Leningrad Region to begin with. The Ukrainians realized this and here we are - four nights of attacks in a row with the Russians unable to stop them.
Like we said before, as long as the Ukrainians still have long range drones in stock, they will continue to hit the targets in this area. It's a free lunch.

I've already said I think the Iran conflict at its current scope is good, so other countries helping us with that would also by definition be good.
Any other fake positions you want to attribute to me since no one seems to be able to win an actual argument against me besides maybe Chrome and Crazy4lsu?

Here's the effect of the drone campaign against Russia's AD systems - a corredor of relatively free passage to the Leningrad Region targets.
