A couple of weeks ago, it was a bit over 5000 pages.
The trolling got out of hand and they whacked it. It was time. Other than a brief interlude when one of the Russian spammers landed and was subsequently banned, this one has been pretty decent.

Agree again, (on a side note the Shahs sister used to live next door to me growing up)
We also fricked up with the neocons and Iran. The Iranians were scared shitless after we took out Iraqi in 3 weeks and took out the Taliban in not much longer and they really wanted to be our friend and help us fight ISIS etc and we’re ready to give up on Nukes etc. They reached out to the Bush administration a ridiculous number of times wanting to help us and cut a real deal but the neocon idiots just completely ignored them. They were convinced they were next and ready to deal but we blew it.

To be honest I’ve become disillusioned with this war. I’m 100% on Ukraine’s side as I don’t see how anyone can be on the Russians side and not be troll but I see a bunch of our allies basically hating the U.S. because we wont hand over our entire arsenal while Europe does lots of talking and not much doing. Ukraine would have lost by now without our weapons yet we seem to be seen as the bad guys now because we have a real live human with a brain that doesn’t need naps as POTUS. I’m to the point that if Europe wants to talk a big game then let it be all on them to supply Ukraine and see exactly how long it takes France or Germany to come crawling back begging for American aid again. Make them kiss Trump’s feet and beg for help again.

That's really cool, went to college with some Persian kids who were really pro USA. Their parents escaped when the Shah got booted.
Good people.

the Bush administration
Yea I blame Clinton for not focusing on Russia, and Bush for fighting his crusade for democracy.
He listened to left wing NGOs who wanted 50% women governments and wouldn't meet the people of Iraq and Afghanistan where they were.
He could have met the Baathists halfway and ensured they kept the country running as a more friendly nation with some starter pack of local democracy.
But no... he and the people in his ear tried to turn them into Belgium.
Not every nation that is our friend has to be a liberal democracy.
Some nations just don't want western democracy.
I think Trump has that figured out.
The Saudis are a good example of him meeting them where they are.
BTW great article on Iran and Russia.

This is clearly overreach but it shows the possibilities. Monday could easily be just more deflection from the Epstein files. Wait and see.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Feinberg is considering sending Congress a new supplemental budget request to fund munitions procurement.
Even without additional PDAs to Ukraine (which is likely coming on Monday) the DoD badly needs additional funds to replace what has already been sent. The Biden Admin consistently lied to Congress about how much money they needed for the PDA replacement account.
quote:
The money would come from a fund Congress approved last year under President Joe Biden that allows the Defense Department to take weapons out of U.S. military’s stockpiles for Ukraine. The fund, known as presidential drawdown authority, still holds about $3.8 billion.
quote:
NATO nations, meanwhile, are working on a larger deal to purchase U.S. weapons for Ukraine, said a congressional aide, who like others, was granted anonymity to discuss internal conversations. POLITICO reported earlier this month that Kyiv is asking Washington to let Europe buy American weapons.
“We send weapons to NATO, and NATO is going to reimburse the full cost of those weapons,” Trump said in the NBC interview. Defense Department officials said they halted the weapons shipments due to concerns about U.S. stockpiles. But some officials disagreed that these relatively small shipments would have an adverse impact on U.S capabilities.
"NATO nations, meanwhile, are working on a larger deal to purchase U.S. weapons for Ukraine." - This would be the best outcome for Monday. Allowing the NATO members to purchase US weapons for delivery to Ukraine using the billions of dollars of seized Russian funds. Everyone wins except Putin, who pays for it in multiple ways.

Russians launched 1,800 drones and 83 missiles against Ukraine in one week – Zelensky
13.07.2025 13:10
Russian forces carried out strikes on Ukraine over the past week using more than 1,800 unmanned aerial vehicles, over 1,200 guided aerial bombs, and 83 missiles.
As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on Facebook.
“Seven days of large-scale Russian attacks on Ukraine: over 1,800 drones, more than 1,200 guided aerial bombs, and 83 missiles of various types. The Russians are intensifying terror against cities and communities to increasingly intimidate our people,” the President stated.
Zelensky emphasized that despite Moscow’s plans, Ukraine’s air defense forces have achieved strong results.
According to him, “interceptor drones are performing particularly well, with hundreds of Russian-Iranian ‘Shaheds’ shot down over the past week”.
The President noted that each meeting with partners this week focused on scaling up this technology.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to everyone ready to invest in protecting lives and to the soldiers safeguarding Ukrainian skies.
The head of state underscored: “’Shaheds’ are one of Russia's ways of prolonging the war. We must neutralize this threat in order to bring diplomacy into motion sooner”.

It's always the same
The welchers in Europe want the US taxpayer to bail them out by footing the bill while they enjoy their socialist welfare. It is disgusting. Same old story since 1945. We have created vassal states in Europe. All the while we continue to bankrupt this country and squander it's treasure in foreign lands.
If we have to fight China how many of them will lift a finger to help us? The FM of Poland stated the other day that they had no desire to get involved in any conflict in Asia.

There are a number of weapons which Europe cannot give due need of release by the US due one or more components developed by the US. We saw that with retired F-16's being unable to be given for at least a year.

Name them and give specific examples of where the Europeans have requested that they be able to give them.
What about their Patriot systems? Rubio keeps saying that there are systems available in Europe but the governments are not willing to send them.
I am telling you now. If the Europeans legitimately try to make the 5% mark on defense without cooking the books they will have to scale back social welfare programs. The people will riot in the streets. The money to do both is not there. There is already growing pushback against cutting the social welfare in Italy, Spain.and Germany just to name three. Look what occurs in France anytime they try to cut benefits. The damn French are the worst of the lot when it comes to socialist welfare.
Even here in the US when the welfare queens lose their medicaid, food stamps, etc. the wailing and whining is unbelievable.
Why should the American taxpayer continue to foot the bill for their defense while the Europeans enjoy this welfare and won't protect themselves?
If Russia is such a threat to them as they claim why haven't the Europeans put their economies on a war footing 2-3 years ago to eventually start producing the weapons needed? They haven't because they have the US taxpayer to do it for them.
Are you ok with the US taxpayer furnishing the weapons but also paying for the operational costs of Ukraine's government along with all of the pensions?
We have been the suckers since the 50's with examples like the US funding 80% of the French War in Indo-China. That turned out to be money well spent.
LOL.

Not this time. We have a president that knows when we are getting screwed. Europe is learning this. At least I hope they are.

We should not, but we still need to be ready to thwart China and Russian imperialism.
We have to be careful not to hurt ourselves while trying to “discipline” Europe.

I hope you are right. But I fear like the Europeans are staging this to outlast Trump and when he is gone they go back to the same old same old. Trump can be manipulated with praise and arse kissing.
I am already hearing of examples of how GB is cooking their books to make it look like real defense spending but it is on paper only.
Their feet should be held to the fire.

China is actually delighted with our foreign policy of staying bogged down in Europe defending welching nations and bankrolling Israel in the ME.
They are sitting back laughing and continuing to grow stronger while we grow weaker.

Trump has done it before , but there is just so far you can go.
Put America first and protect our interests. If the others don’t go along then let them accept the risks involved.
If Europe wants Ukraine to fall and then they get swamped by millions of Ukrainian refugees then their social programs will really be overwhelmed.
We should be doing everything possible to replace Russia as an oil and gas provider. That will help us and them. We need to take full advantage of this situation economically, and Trump has already started this process.

I bet you half of their population are already there and on benefits. Much of Europe is still following the policy of taking in "migrants" and those "migrants" immediately go to the social welfare rolls. GB is a perfect example of this. This is a death nail in the coffin for any country that allows this. The European nations should be rounding up the Ukrainian military aged men and sending them back to fight instead of harboring them and paying them welfare.
Just look at what has occurred in the US. Is this the same country that you grew up in? It is a travesty in what has been allowed.
