Dude, you don't know the truth even when it drags its balls across your face.
Why are 75% of your insults about gay shite? It is legitimately weird. You gotta throw them out occasionally to really get the full impact, you over commit and now everyone just thinks you're gay

All of the MAGA types were in here constantly talking about Ukrainians getting rich off of American foreign policy, when the people getting really rich were the connected insiders in Trumpworld.
You don't think there are Ukranians getting stupidly rich off this war?
I forget the city, but some Ukranian municipality received a bunch of money for defenses that never got bought. Pretty sure BBC reported it. What happened to all that?
But yes a lot of people within Trumpworld have figured out how to grift off it and its one of the reasons I have significantly soured on the man.

checking in to ask why this thread is still up?
the sticky awhile ago said Ukraine accepted trumps terms. What gives?

So normal business deals are now the equivalent of the outright theft of billions, while the people die lacking the weapons the money was intended to buy.
This is more contorted than your endless threads on how ukraine is "winning" while the whole world just wants cargo pants to stop the stealing and stop the killing of his own people while he still has a piece of country left.
This can end today if ukraine wants it to, or option B is to let it continue for a few more months, and lets see how much smaller ukraine becomes. You can read a map cant you?
I'm genuinely curious. - do you really believe this? That this is just 'business as usual' or that the Ukrainians can end this by surrendering, or that any accurate map would back these claims, and so forth?

The difficult point to get my head around is that even after three years it is clear that both the Kremlin and the White House still underestimate the Ukrainians. Maybe the Russians are victims of their own lifelong prejudices against the lesser 'Hohols'. The Trump White House is just isolated from reality.
The only way this makes sense to me is that Trump and the Russians are in bed together. That's the only way I can make it make sense.
The deal, as I see it, is that Trump hands over the Ukraine to Russia, has the US walk away from NATO, and works to 'strengthen economic ties to Russia' ie. find more ways to fleece the American and Russian people.
Trump then floods the American system with Russian operatives like Gabbard, who has a HORRIBLE association with Russian oligarchs, and other who teach Trump how to take control of the American system and fleece us. It seems to be the most crooked deal in all of American history, and I know that sounds tin foil hat-ish, but I don't care, it's a logical analysis of the situation.
That's what is going on right now.

Because after the Russians wrote the 28 Point plan, which was just a repeat and endorsement of Putin's maximalist demands, Witkoff got Trump on board with it as it was the first step in the planned Kushner grab.
Their plan was to get Trump to threaten to stop Ukrainian support to intimidate the Ukrainians into accepting it. Yet again, for like the 5th time. They thought this time Zelensky was too weak to resist due to the Dept. of Energy scandal in Kyiv. They all thought wrong. Again. For the 5th time.
That's what you call a deep miscalculation due to the Moscow / White House disconnect from the Ukrainian reality. It's as if they live in a fantasy world. They yet again underestimated the Ukrainian's will to fight. After almost four years of getting their asses beat by those people, they still underestimate them.

Agreed, the reason is that the Kremlin has the Epstein file. I wish to God someone would release that GD file, the sooner the better.
Trump is not a planner but is following the plans made by the people he is surrounded with in the White House. And their plan is pretty much as you describe it.

Well well, Friedman, no right winger and no fan of Russia/Putin said the 28 point plan was a good deal for both Ukraine and Russia.
We all need to calm the phuck down and realize that Ukraine is on a PART of geopolitics.
Might want to wait for the dust to settle and do a post mortem rather than wild speculation

I should have posted this when I saw it. Russia has other weaknesses which Trump has been exploiting.

That doesn't necessarily mean Ukraine is stronger than the US thinks they are though, it could also just mean Ukraine thinks they are stronger than the actually are.
If you use your logic and apply it consistently, you also have to admit Russia is likely stronger than you think they are

Is it Ukraine will to fight or EU will to keep war going?

The West and Russia both underestimated Ukraine. Russia and the West over estimated Russia.
Ukraine has desperately fought for their life as a country.

Initially, absolutely they did.
But we are talking about present day here.

Today we see how weak Russia is and at the same time how resilient Ukrsine is.
The two big questions, will Europe stay strong with Ukraine and continue to support them, and will the US honor their pledge to support Ukraine sovereignty or will they throw in with Putin.

More than 600,000 people in the Kyiv region of Ukraine were without power on Saturday morning after an overnight Russian attack.
Ukraine's energy ministry said more than 500,000 of these were in the capital itself, with the rest in the surrounding region. It attributed the power losses to missile and drone strikes on energy infrastructure in the city and several other regions.
Around 36 missiles and nearly 600 drones were launched on targets across Ukraine overnight, officials said, killing three and injuring dozens of others.
Its 3 degrees Celsius. Is this what winning looks like? Guess cargo pants is cozy in his 5 star hotel with the shopaholic surrounded by gifts bought by US taxpayers.
