New details have emerged regarding the resignation of Dmitry Kozak, Deputy Chief of Staff in Vladimir Putin’s administration. Prior to his resignation, Kozak submitted a personal letter to Putin, in which, according to Agentstvo Media, he sharply criticized both the president and the decision to invade Ukraine.
Kremlin insiders report that Kozak referred to Putin as a “disgraced old man” and firmly condemned the logic behind the war, though Putin did not react to the letter, and Kozak now anticipates a personal meeting with him. Following the submission of the letter, Kozak traveled to Israel. However, the outlet notes that this is not an escape, as he regularly visits for medical treatment and continues to return to Russia as usual.

The situation in eastern zaporizhia continues to degrade for Ukraine. Their defenses are oriented mostly towards the south so the Russian breakthrough here is behind the primary Ukrainian defensive lines. Big problem.

Thoughts and prayers for him and his family, and I'm not even joking.

Yep. I was going to post that article.
This is the single most disgraceful administration in American history.

All of the MAGA types were in here constantly talking about Ukrainians getting rich off of American foreign policy, when the people getting really rich were the connected insiders in Trumpworld.
The scams run by corrupt Ukrainians were small potatoes.
But at least we now understand why the "incompetent" Witkoff still has a job: he's actually doing what he was hired to do, which is make money for Trump insiders.

At the same time the Trump admin has gotten Central Asian nations away from Russia, not completely but worrisome for Putin. Same with what is going on in Venezuela. Rosneft will likely lose its concessions there in the near future. Venezuela is one of the few nations propping up Cuba. Then there is question of Syria whose leader has been a US asset since 2016

Where’s your link?
The Ukrainian $100 Million embezzlement scheme has been well documented.
Where are the links for your claims?

Kazakhstan can kick rocks.
Turkey 'expressing concern' is the lightest criticism they can offer. I'm sure they were consulted prior to these attacks. With no oil spills and neither tanker sinking, Turkey has no problems. To Erdogan, it's just more business for Turkish maritime support groups.
But both tankers are out of commission and with no frigging insurance to cover these losses. The Greeks are thinking twice now.

Kazakhstan and Turkey condemned Ukraine's recent drone strikes on Russian tankers and the Novorossiysk oil terminal. Kazakhstan called it an “act of aggression” against a “civilian” energy facility vital to global supply, warning of damage to Kyiv-Astana ties. Turkey expressed concern over risks to shipping and regional stability after the attacks in its exclusive economic zone.
Stop crying.

So normal business deals are now the equivalent of the outright theft of billions, while the people die lacking the weapons the money was intended to buy.
This is more contorted than your endless threads on how ukraine is "winning" while the whole world just wants cargo pants to stop the stealing and stop the killing of his own people while he still has a piece of country left.
This can end today if ukraine wants it to, or option B is to let it continue for a few more months, and lets see how much smaller ukraine becomes. You can read a map cant you?

Underlines the Ukrainian's great value for weapons testing. Send a ground UAV out for a test and guess what shows up at close range. Simple AP rounds would explain why the Ru AV took no evasive action.

Putin indicated that Russia does not recognize the US-proposed peace plan as a serious agreement and indicated that Russia is not interested in ending the war on the Trump administration’s desired rapid timeline.
Putin’s discussion of the US peace proposal suggests that the Kremlin views the peace proposal as a suggestion rather than a decisive effort to end the war in Ukraine and is setting information conditions to stall the peace process on this basis.
Putin has two serious internal problems -
1.) the growing fracture between the Siloviki's FSB tribe and the Family 2.0 FSB tribe; and
2.) the growing awareness of the massive Witkoff-Kushner corruption scheme within the Kremlin / FSB.
The coming fight over this much money and the power that comes with it is a huge danger to Putin's regime. Everyone in the FSB knows what happens to those left out. Thus the leaks to reset or stop the 'peace process'.
The delays caused by this fear will eventually sink the Witkoff-Kurchner grab. It can't work if it isn't completed and presented before everyone is aware of what is happening. Thieves in the night presenting a de facto agreement backed by a small but very powerful group of Siloviki.
But the leaks over the 28 Point plan stopped that, thus we have our suspects on the origin of the leaks. In many ways, the FSB is one of Kyiv's best allies.
And the biggest threat to Putin.

Turkish ship owner, Panamanian flag. It's a chemical tanker, so may have been transporting refined products from Taman, on the east side of the Kerch Strait.
Waiting for more information.

Long ago they would have been delivered. If just a few hours in Taman, other cargo taken on elsewhere, so a parcel tanker with a liner service type numerous ports called both to load and discharge.
