Build one house, it doesn't make you a carpenter. Suck one dick and you're know as cocksucker, for life. Danang Dick has many things he will be known for, for life. Pope Bobby needs to get back in his lane, and fix that abortion of a coverup machined he is running.

The Pope just equated the killing of an unborn child to the death penalty of a criminal who committed a heinous crime

What kind of church honors a man for 40 years of lies, deceit, and theft?

Why is the catholic church honoring anyone who isn't spreading the Word of God? Are they just a social organization now?

I wouldn’t walk across my yard to see or hear anything the pope says or thinks.

I can assure you that the Pope still opposes Abortion.
More importantly, you should be condemning the thread as "not for the political board", if you want to be honest and consistent.

Let me paraphrase what the pope said.

Sure killing unborn children is murder but but we will look the other way because he is funneling us money behind the scenes.

I am a practicing Roman Catholic.
And yes I am more Catholic than the pope.

Sure sounds weak. Also sounds like he is for illegals and open borders under the guise off regular legal migration.

This is a common theme in masses where I live. There are a lot of hispanics in our pews. Problem is we can have sympathy for poor people who crossed the border for a "better life". But a country has to manage immigration through our laws. The church needs to stay out of that business and not recommend lawlessness.

“ The Blessing of the Waters by Pope Leo XIV, at today’s ‘Raising Hope for Climate Justice’ International Conference at Castel Gandolfo”

#637388 of things you’ll never see in an Orthodox church.

This thread absolutely does not belong on the PT. It is turning into another Catholic-bashing thread, which we have on here daily.

“Inhumane” treatment of immigrants is his OPINION (and a lie at that) and also easy for him to say from his perch in the locked down Vatican.

Yeah, I too thought that was extra rich... Let him be the first to throw open the gates.

Are there people on PT who would like to see illegal aliens treated inhumanely?

I agree with the Pope - I would like them to be treated humanely, as we process them and deport them out of the USA in a humane manner.

The question is who decides what is "humane"?

Inhumane, to me, would be denying food, water and waste management.

Inhumane to others is not providing a fully stocked law library.

The US provides them with medical care, food, shelter AND free legal representation. You can't get more Humane that that, IMHO, as we deport their butts out of the USA.

If anyone tries to use the phrase "humane treatment" as a euphemism for just having open borders and letting everybody in, that person is writing New Law that has never been the law in any country on Earth. We know what "humane treatment" is and it is not "open borders."

Who decides what is "humane"? The People of the USA and our representatives in the US Govt. We are guided by the principles of Natural Law and God given rights as we reach our decision.

And I would like to stand on my soap box and proclaim that IMHO the Catholic Church should distance itself from the US Democratic Party.
