I was truly enraged listening to the body cam footage. It struck me the, the impact that has had and will always have on that man’s life.
The 17 minutes revelation was horrifying. I hope that after all is said and done there is a new precedent set on the liability of politicians for stuff like this. Perhaps someone given a title might take said title more seriously if there were real world consequences to their actions. If you want the money and the power, you’ve got to respect it.

The set up and county situation there is pretty weird. I actually never even lived in the City after my freshman year but about 25 min away. I assume thats what all the baws are doing

It’s interesting because it’s a deep blue county surrounded by deep red counties. Oconee has some spillage from Athens but its core is deep red. It’s been an interesting few years living here and experiencing this election cycle. I couldn’t believe some of our neighbors supporting Gonzalez for DA given the number of absurd mistakes she has made. Not to mention, their response to Laken - its was disgusting.
