Maybe I’m just numbed to this.
fricking the boss to get ahead then claiming non-consent because he thinks it is more serious than you is some serious double standard crap.
It wasn’t like he was sexually harassing underlings and misusing federal background checks to look up women he was interested in like Murphy Painter.

To be fair, I think his defense was that it was consensual, not that it never happened.

Welllll, there is allegations still out there that Schedler would have the SOS security team run license plates and records of male visitors to the lady's house. He would drop the visitor's name in conversation with her and other details.
This needs to be looked into.

This is why Murphy Painter getting a not guilty verdict is a problem.
The state had to pay damages to the feds for the illegal background checks he did yet they didn’t convict him of malfeasance / computer fraud, at least in part because a number of people had Painter’s password to the background check database.
Painter getting declared not guilty probably convinced other dumbasses that they would slide on it too.
This is why Murphy Painter getting a not guilty verdict is a problem.

Saw Kyle at the Capitol yesterday. Seems like a nice guy and worked well with us. Schedler was a part of Hainkel’s group of guys. He was with Dardenne and some others with Hainkel the night he passed away. If I am recalling the story correctly he actually drove Senator Hainkel’s car back to NOLA with Dardenne following him.
If you know a tad bit about La state politics you know Hainkel came in with Alario as a reform minded guy with others like Bubba Henry. Journalists named their group The Young Turks. That was long ago of course, but he was at the table with that group. Very very influential group of Legislators and politicians.
