Please elaborate. I'm truly interested in the no party option. I always thought that's what independent meant.

Do they still allow Independent in LA?

I don't think so. I received a notice I had to switch from I.

Independent is technically a party for Sec State purposes. Two different “boxes”.

You would get to vote in Independent primary, whatever that would be.

No party gets to choose under this new system.

He'll win Orleans easily, but it's too big of a deficit

I did the same and you do as you said. I selected the Republican option and signed and dated. That’s pretty much it.

I'm sure you know this is a Senate race.

Question is whether he is able to top Fleming and make the runoff.

Letlow pretty much has this in the bag if she comes out of the night in the high 40% range. It just becomes a question of whether it is her and Fleming or her and Cassidy.

Thanks for explanation. Has your phone been blown up with political text ads everyday for the past month?

Looking for an option to avoid that crap!

People are fed up with how shitty everything is and the waste

I'm glad i got out of St. George when I did. My son was in 5th grade when we moved. He'll be a SR next year and they still haven't gotten everything accomplished, and likely won't anytime soon the way things are looking.

A little bit. I don’t have an answer for that one, though.

Letlow has about 44%, Fleming has about 27%, Cassidy has about 24%.

Letlow is clearly leading but the question is whether she wins outright or who she has a runoff against.
