Yes. There only so much information in the image. If you "optically" zoom, the eye and brain do the filling in of the gaps.
With a digital zoom and/or AI enhancement, the algorithm and processor fills in those gaps. Absolutely.

The judge has stopped several times short of outright declaring he sees this a mistrial with prejudice imo. The only reason possible for that if it’s true I can think of is the political motivations of ramifications surrounding this. How is that ok?

The judge clearly said it had to be demonstrated to him that it's accurate before it would be shown. Then Binger absolutely lied about what the judge saying it could be shown then impeached.
