His whole line of questioning is leading to "you brought the gun with the sole intention of using it". Explicitly it should be said you carry a gun praying you don't have to use it, but you use it when it's necessary. Which was already proven he did.

Using a magnifying glass on an analog image is totally different than blowing something up digitally that uses some type of scaling or interpolation software that fills in extra pixels.
