I think the deal will be that in 2026, both parties will agree to let his contract expire. He'll finish out his run but he'll come out with some half apology and will dump nearly all political topics.

Sinclair already has laid out what it would take for them to air Kimmel again. I don’t see him making an apology and then making large donations to approved groups like TPUSA.
Without Sinclair and the other affiliate group, ABC likely can’t afford to keep him on the air.

Never watched the Leftist Progressive's “court jester” before and won’t watch him if he returns.
If the Lefty’s “need” this loser reinforcing their insanity under the guise of comedy, that’s ultimately on ABC and their willingness to buck popular sentiment and good business sense.

The guy was making 16 million, and the show was losing 20 million . In what world, not turning a profit and losing a corporation millions of dollars annually allows you to keep you job? Clown world !
My guess is it becomes plainly obvious to EVERYONE that Kimmell would be a firebomb if he came back on TV and the FCC would be compelled to yank the license of ABC affiliated stations. That level of escalation would cripple Disney.
