You people in that thread talk no differently, think no differently

Find me in that thread dipshit.

quote:

Any information you don’t like, you flip your shite and label it Russian disinformation. Anyone who questions the authorities in this war, you tell them to shut the frick up and do as you’re fricking told. If anyone questions the experts and suspects we’re being fed propaganda from the West, we’re told to stop thinking and listen to the experts. If anyone says what we’re currently doing may get more people killed in the end and that the cure may be worse than the disease/war itself, you’re called a Putin cocksucker. If we suspect they’re intentionally prolonging the conflict to line the pockets of organizations and special interest groups and consolidate power, you’re called a crazy person.

You’re on here quoting Rorschach and posting stupid memes. Like the whole war is about you. I’d say that’s pretty “flipped your shite” level.

I’m not telling you to listen to “experts”. I’m saying be more critical of your own supposed “experts”.

Also, what’s different about the pocket lining aspect of this conflict from any other? Don’t you think there are Russian interests making money off of this as well? That isn’t a justification for war, but it is a reality. Also, Russia is trying to “consolidate power” through absorbing former Soviet territory. The justification for this war is that Russia invaded Ukraine, and is attempting to annex territory in a sovereign nation.

quote:

Again no fricking difference between you and a Fauci acolyte whatsoever. It’s the exact same line of reasoning, the exact same insults, the exact same bullying tactics, and the exact same lemming mentality. And here’s the thing: you probably agree with me on Fauci since he’s the most hated person in America, but you just can’t see this.

No. I don’t agree with you on Fauci, because I am not looking at every piece of information I come into contact with as an absolute.

quote:

Don’t listen to literally any of these. Guessing you’re Gen X or a Boomer, but no I listen to individuals and not organizations. Individuals who have earned my trust and not lied to me. All of these organizations are fricking liars and are not to be taken seriously.

Ok. Feel free to give me a brief list, maybe five to ten sources you feel you can rely on. Maybe I’m missing some crucial piece of the narrative and if I had that I would feel differently about Russia invading another country and trying to annex its territories.

Of course that’s happening, the difference is I’m not defending Russia here. Ukraine though outside of the self defense is being defended on here no matter what they do and how reckless they are. I don’t necessarily blame them because it basically is World War III for them, but they frick off trying to escalate and force us into this.

OK:

Ben Shapiro
Tim Pool
Kyle Kulinski
Krystal Ball
Saagar Enjeti
Jimmy Dore

Those six would be 80% of where I get my news. Here’s the other 20%:

Glenn Greenwald
Bari Weiss
Tucker Carlson
Dave Smith
Russell Brand
Glenn Beck
Josh Rogin
Aaron Mate
Carl Benjamin
Drew Hernandez
Jeremy Hambly
Libs of TikTok
Jonathan Swan
Luke Rudkowski
Matthew Yglesias
Matt Walsh
Andy Ngo
Jack Posobiec
Ronan Farrow

Pretty balanced list honestly.

Moon of Alabama is reporting a significant problem for Ukrainian forces has suddenly materialized.

quote:

Adam Kinzinger??????????@AdamKinzinger - 16:26 UTC · Oct 7, 2022
Evidently the Starlink system is down over the front lines of Ukraine. @elonmusk should make a statement about this, or, this should be investigated. This is a national security issue.

quote:

Russian electronic warfare equipment can already disable all ground radio traffic in specific areas. Soon all frontline communications of the Ukrainian forces will be disabled.

This is catastrophic for Ukrainian operations. Forward observers will no longer be able to correct artillery missions. Platoons and companies at the front will have no way to call for support. Higher command will have no way to coordinate larger operations in real time.

Al Jazeera has a carefully written story, even as the way they describe Crimea.
They also ask if one truck could do that much damage, what size explosive might be needed and even suggest a two part operation.

IF it were set off below the water, how could that take out the rail cars (the SEVEN rail cars) carrying fuel, on a separate bridge higher than the auto road bed?

When it looked as if the car 'to the left' had driven through the fire ball, only to be engulfed by the fire ball, ignited and then exploded. That may tell something about temperatures created and which explosives are capable of such explosions.

It may be that Musk figured out how to block Russian held territory from starlink.

The reverse is true that if the lines move fast and Ukrainian soldiers move into this dark territory they cannot communicate either.

I shite post here a lot so disregard this idc but in terms of fresh, unadulterated info about this war, that is a terrible list. None of them know anything they didn't get from Fox/CNN/MSNBC or direct govt propaganda.

All these people are biased as all frick, but at least they’re honest about it, tell me where their flaws are, and tell me to go watch the other side. The networks tell you to not change the channel and stick with them because they’re telling you the truth. The way I get information is way better than the average person does.

Why are you following or getting any information at all from anyone you listed? I’m fairly certain I’m younger than you, and I can’t even imagine knowing who those people are.

Why do you care or attribute value to Internet personalities/journalists?

Then Russia doesn't want a diplomatic solution.

No, they don’t.
I don’t really think this is news to anyone. They want what they want and are willing to piss off the entire rest of the world to get it. Because they’ve got nukes in their back pocket.

Unfortunately, the nuclear genie was let out of the bottle in 1945 and it cannot be stuffed back in. Prior to that, one country, even one the size of Russia, with its military, population, resources, etc couldn’t stand against the entire combined rest of the world no matter how many conventional weapons they had.

But since 1945, multiple nations have developed nuclear capabilities and so for almost 80 years, they’ve all operated under the MAD doctrine, with some nuclear saber rattling from time to time. Alliances are still formed but nukes really are the great equalizer in many ways, especially if you have enough to do some real damage. Everyone operated under a “be cool” motto because no one wants to turn the world into a nuclear wasteland… right?

Now Putin is willing to push that envelope, saying things like “Why would we want a world without Russia?” The man just turned 70, he’s ruled Russia for over 20 years now, it’s not unthinkable that he would use the Samson Option if he thought he was going to be ousted and/or forced into surrender.

Make that SEVEN tanker cars burning (easily counted) and two spans of the railroad bridge not the same as they were three days ago.

My husband looked at the video of the explosion and said "They used a mercury switch and the driver probably didn't know."

He saw the truck driving straight ahead and just as it started to climb, boom!
A simple mercury switch aligned for the angle of climb of the bridge.

If you were in charge we would have cut a deal with Russia early on, when they were strong, and they would have half of Ukraine. Instead, we supported Ukraine, armed them with superior weapons, and forced Russia into defeat. Now we will make a deal on favorable terms. Thankfully we didn’t listen to wimps

Somebody explain how either scenario is good for the USA and justifies the billions of dollars we’ve spent propping up corrupt Ukraine. Both sides are bad guys and our sellout politicians are using this whole thing as cover to protect their own shady deals in Ukraine and to create more avenues to receive kick backs.

I stand corrected because I confused his exact quote with a similar one from someone else.

“Why do we need a world if Russia is not in it?” - Was NOT Putin, it was Russian state television host Dmitry Kiselyov. LINK

What Putin said was: “as a citizen of Russia and the head of the Russian state I must ask myself: Why would we want a world without Russia?”
LINK

Which still sounds ominous but the context in which he said it was more about a retaliatory strike.
