The issue will be would a man with such little experience have been advanced so quickly? IF a woman can meet the same standards as men to be a pilot, I don't have any problems with that. It's the lowering of standards to admit more women that exposes DEI as a dangerous policy.
We’re talking about a regional FO here. Nobody is getting hired at a regional unless they meet the qualifications codified by law after the Colgan crash in Buffalo. New hires at regionals today are way more qualified than they were 15 years ago when the mins were typically 500 hrs with 200 multi. The Captain had to use better judgement here and take the aircraft or call the go around if they were unstable below 500 feet. A new hire fo fresh off IOE is gonna have their hands full in those conditions.

do we have an update on the condition of all the passengers?
i mean, i guess i have to give the seatbelt rule some credit here. surely there would havwe been a few deaths or paralysis had people been dumped onto their heads during the rollover.

To be fair, some women have a lot of experience when it comes to being upside down.
PS - Honest question, given the name and somewhat the appearance. Do we know for an absolute fact that she isn't a "T"?

Too bad her name ain’t Mary Swanson, or we would be able to do dumb and dumber gifs

Delta doesn’t operate those planes. They contract them out.
Posted on 2/20/25 at 3:17 pm to timdonaghyswhistle
Was it her first landing?
Was she snow blind?
A pilot with 20 years with Delta said she did NOT “flare” the jet right at landing(pull the nose up)
Landed way too hard….

I would never get on a big jet with her as pilot especially in bad weather.
Next time you fly you will check both the weather and the pilots’ resumes?
