I heard what she said in the ceremony and thought it was odd. But figured it must be true. Surely she wouldn't make that up. But she did.

About the only one that could do better are the Norwegian cross-country skiers (supposedly that's the best exercise you can do, so we need to start a chain of artificial snow cross-country ski tracks in the South so we can kick the bad health habits there).

To be fair, Katie is typically allowed to spew complete bullshite and not be called out on it. This is business as usual for her so she doesn't really know any better.

I had to put up with her when she hosted an event for the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship. Not only did she get coked up with Brandon Tartikoff's widow, she was a total count to everyone all night.
