He was still speaking and telling the crowd to protest peacefully when the initial “breach” occurred. I think we can sum up your feelings succinctly. Orange man bad.

when you cross over into the neverTrump world, literally EVERYTHING becomes his fault and literally EVERYTHING he says and does is evil.

For example, Trump makes one comment about Chinese auto companies skirting NAFTA and putting our car companies at risk, and SFP and his new butt buddy Roger start a 75 page thread about how China isnt even an economic threat to the US. Welcome to Clownworld; population: us.

how do you interpret:

Yeah he does that inside the House mostly. His authority does not supersede that of POTUS. He mostly enforces order amongst the members at the direction of the Speaker. He has absolutely nothing to say if the executive branch wants to set up a perimeter outside of the Capitol. It is the right of the Executive Branch to protect and defend federal property and as such in DC, the President through SecDef can have the DC guard do this.

Wait.....I got it now you guys will steadfastly maintain that Pelosi and Bowser were at fault so as to protect your man . Fukker decided to play chicken with this, got caught in a tight spot.....so deflect and blame people who had no power over it. It will make you question your very existence.

Your going to cite a guy like Jimmy Dore, ......really. Clowns citing clowns ?
Does Dore understand that POTUS or the Executive Branch does not need the acquiescence of the Mayor of DC in order to protect Federal property by using the guard. The National Guard in DC answers to the President who has delegated that to the Secretary of Defense. They can call out the guard in an emergency situation to protect those properties in Federal zones. The Capitol is a Federal Zone , as is the Mall the Ellipse, the White House and the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials. Bowser could say no and it would not matter. Pelosi could say no and it would not matter.

My God, you people are thick headed fools.

Dude you are just sick because your heroes were offered a life raft while on a sinking ship. They were like, no thanks were good. All of the crap that you just lied about in this post is laughable. You are just a joke that sensible people see as the boards "village idiot". Keep on making a fool out of yourself though

I didn’t cite anyone. Jimmy didn’t either.

It’s audio and written interviews In the Video with the individuals asked about whether or not they recall the NG requested for the Capitol and what numbers

Bowser declined saying she had 200-300ish officers when Trump’s cabinet asked to have an additional 10k

Capitol heads that report directly to Pelosi and Mitch both declined based on “optics”

You can dislike the facts all you want. They’re still facts and the committee 100% purposely left them out of the report.

Separation of powers. Same reason Bush had to wait for approval to send the guard after Katrina.

If Trump thought there was going to be a problem he could act unilaterally and he could do so legally. If he thought there was going to be trouble he had an obligation to act and neither Bowser or Pelosi could stop him legally.

All of that is true but you can also add "Pelosi was like hell to the no". The ng would screw up our production.

The National Guard in DC answers to the President or the Secretary of Defense not Miriam Bowser or Nancy Pelosi. He should consult with the Capitol Police but is not obligated to.

Pelosi and Bowser could have simply said yes, send the NG Mr. Trump. Wonder why they didnt? You would never admit it but you, I, and most everyone in this country knows the answer. Run along fruit loop your starting to be aggravating instead of foolishly funny.
