Her dad is black jamaican. Don't think it's comparable to American black. Her jamaican lineage is akin to the southern slave owners who were black.
It's akin but not the same. Southern slave owners who were black have had descendants who were mixed in with future descendants of black slaves..making it difficult to tell which lineage was slave owners and which were slaves. Her jamaican lineage...are proud to have been slave owners.. and take it upon themselves to stand out.

The galaxy-brained race science we're gonna see on this board is gonna be off-the-charts.

So I don’t really care about any of this. But you can look up that Indians have a long history of working in Africa and other places as merchants and civil servants.

Her actual paternal Grandfather is back row, third from the right.
She's front row, 2nd from left, with the pink balloon. (This picture is from a family reunion).

According to Judge Joe Brown, who knows Harris’s father, he identifies as Irish and Hindu.

You really want to try and make the argument that it is okay to choose which race you identify as depending on what is politically advantageous? Is that the point you are trying to make here equating this with what Kamala is doing?
What is wrong with saying you can relate to both groups of people because of your heritage?

Pretending to be Indian to attract Asian voters in a San Francisco election, then morphing to black so you have a shot at the presidency is "race science".

Your voting logic: “What are their ideas?! No, how could I have been so shortsighted! What is their ethnicity and gender”?
If you think this attack on Kamala resonates with the public, I have a bridge to sell you.

Huh, Today I learned that this man is not the right kind of black for America.

As opposed to the hill you leftists wish to die on which is “let us groom your kids!”

Hell, I'm blacker than that guy, and I'm whiter than a saltine.

Keep it up!
No need for a hill when it comes to her. Heck, the untrained can easily deal with this. The beatdown of the ages is in the near future.

It's fricking ridiculous. Plenty of ammo on policy.

The issue is her "changing" her race identity based on electoral needs, as Vivek pointed out yesterday. She even whipped up a Southern accent for Atlanta voters this week. It was cringey.
Also, being raised by Indians in Canada makes you about as culturally black as Tom Cotton.
In the battle for the black vote, these issues are fair game.
You are a dem. Dont suddenly get a weak stomach over race politics, when its finally used against you.

I think people care far more that she is trying to pander for political reasons and want to call her out on her bullshite, than they actually care what her race is.
We have the receipts. When she was in a State with a very high south asian population, she ran on being south asian/indian. Same when she was VP. We have the video of her and Biden claiming it.
Now that she is running for president and campaigning down in Atlanta, we are going to say we are black and pander to that vote. It is bullshite that deserves to be called out.

Nothing, but that is not what has happened here so it is irrelevant. Claiming to be something only when it is politically advantageous is wrong though.
