Put her back in the race for President and primary her out. We all saw where that went the last time. She could be the Pat Buchanan of their party, losing primary after primary for the next ten years.

That presents its own optics problems for the Dems, IMHO.

Biden’s clearly not capable. If it gets invoked and they vote to keep him in, it is going to kill them in public perception.

And if it would pass, there's more bad optics, how long has he been out of it and we had a weekend at Berries situaion. Older dems and independents may not like kicking him to the curb. Will they be forced to run Kamala or create more bad optics. VPs are selected to step in if something happens to the presdent. So a minority female becomes president and they kick her to the curb.

Trump could have a field day with all this. Most dems wouldn't care but it could cost them the independent vote.

lol

They are like sheep to slaughter and stand together regardless of how ludicrous the idea...or candidate is.

Look at how the Dems in Congress vote. All uniform.

I kind of want to see Kamala run for President.

Not only would she lose badly, the entertainment value alone would be a treat.

Can you imagine the word salad she can come up with as a presidential hopeful? Or in a debate with Trump?

Convincing Kamala is the easy part.

Who they replace her with is the the hard part
I don't know about that.

She might have been playing loose and easy in order to get ahead (use whatever pun you want ),
but NOW she's a step from the White House, and Biden is tottering. If she has any moves to make, now is the time she would do it.

I agree. The potential for fracture on the Dem side is far greater than the Never Trumpers impact on the Right. TDS is perceived to be much greater on the Right than it really is, there aren't that many non-libs that won't vote for Trump in November. But how the Dems handle shitcanning Biden could have an impact top-to-bottom on the Dem side of the ballot.

They will stick with Biden and Harris. There will be no changes on the ticket. They know they have the media to cover for them even though they are tanking him now. They will come around.

No, they can't.

I rewatched Biden's announcement and it wasn't as terrible as I first thought, but ... the signs of dementia are clearly there. It isn't just this speech in a vacuum, you have to consider he said he recently spoke to Mitterand too. And the election is for 4 more years.

He can still walk to the podium today and answer questions (somewhat awkwardly), but I don't think that's the case in a year, and definitely not in 2-3 years.

She is already an established member of the Uniparty. She doesn't need to suck anymore dick than she already has to get a "golden parachute". My guess is that the Ukraine funding is coming back to her and Biden with some solid returns. She and her "husband" are already wealthy enough.

Funny how Progressives don't hate these rich people.

Newsome picks Stretchin Gretchin as his VP.

Both get their Covid loyalty reward and no criticism of replacing a woman of color with a white woman because that’s (D)ifferent.

All Plausible in my opinion

That ship has sailed. He can only appoint if there is a vacancy and that vacancy has been filed. Only thing tempting enough would be a SCOTUS appointment if there is a vacancy, but I doubt she would pass Senate approval.

Even if Kamala gets a very large consulation prize, if she is replaced by anything other than a black female as the Dem candidate, then black women will raise a stink come November.

You ask that when you see what they are doing to her boss in real time?

They will cuomo her arse in a new york minute if she does not take what they offer.

They will bring forward a dozen black females who accuse her of racism and she wont get a guest appearance on mister rogers reruns.

Nah. I haven’t detected anywhere near that type of fracture in the party over her. Sure, there will be the race mutts who never miss an opportunity to get loud. But by and large the party seems very coherent about her abysmal perception and approval ratings

I think they go with her if thats what she wants. I don't think they want to risk the Bud lite effect and permanently lose some of their black voters.
