Nothing like an uplifting message like that with no context or plan on how to achieve it. It would be like Trump saying we should cut all taxes and get rid of the countries deficit with no plan in place to achieve it.

I absolutely agree with the concept of providing equality of opportunity, and I believe we do as good a job of this here in America as any place in the world.
That said, the very notion of demanding equality of outcome is not only foolhardy, but reckless and irresponsible. It isn’t possible, and should not even be something that anyone wants. Equality of outcome is an exceedingly curious desire for a political ideology that purports to celebrate individuality.

Historically, they often deal quite a lot of equal outcomes. Equal poverty, equal misery, equal oppression. Except for the ruling class...their own rules never apply to themselves.

Unfortunately, many are too ignorant to even realize the implications of that even if they heard it.
Just how damn authoritarian does a government have to be in order to attempt to enforce that outcome?
Of course equality of outcome is not possible, but you will destroy the majority of people trying.

Bezosand other rich people support them because they want to make sure they don’t have to be the ones to suffer. The rich will still be rich but the middle class will get destroyed. It’s want democrats want.
