This is Austin. This is par for the course in ultra liberal Austin.

Ha. That shite has gone on in AISD for at least 7 years. Our last year there, an elementary school (not ours) near the house had a movie night. Encouraging all to come in PJs. They advertised there would be food trucks. 1 snow cone truck and 1 chili truck. The chili truck is "the Texas chili queens". At some point the principal came out and was having "the queens" come out for photos with all the folks.

I’ll say this about the info you posted. This point of view is pushed extremely hard by national organizations and accreditation groups who often have an influence over all schools, even private and parochial. The teachers and administrators go to national conventions where the weak-minded ones are brainwashed and swept into this mess.

Then, you get visits from the accreditation portion of the national organization who thinks you’re doing well, but never well enough. You need more CRT training and then they can approve the accreditation.

While this material is certainly present and popular in Austin, because it’s Austin; it is here in Houston as well as Dallas and SA. The only way to fight this moving into a school or district (in any state) is to throw out the national organizations completely. There are still a few who don’t push this and if you send your children to private or religious school it’s important to know who has influence over that school.

Texit is a fantasy. It's a barely red state loading up on leftist locusts who've screwed up other states already.

Austin ISD is a horrible district even without the liberalism. This just puts it over the top.

I would never send my kids there...
