bullshite.

She may have a clean bill of health for now but she still has to have checkups the next few years. And there’s always a possibility of a spot showing up somewhere else.

Went through this with a relative. Colon cancer removed, clean for 1-2 years, spot on liver removed, chemo and radiation, somewhat cleared, brain tumor, game over.

Just because the margins were good and it looked clear doesn’t mean it hasn’t spread.

You really want this woman to die of cancer? Is this where you want to be when Jesus comes back?

Why is that? She's still 85 with the affects of cancer ravaging her dying body. It's like having a fire decimate your home, and thinking..."We're back to normal now...there is no more evidence of fire or flames."

On an up note. Every morning RBG is one day closer to death.

I’m pointing out the stupidity of saying “she’s free of cancer” so soon after her surgery.

They may have gotten the entire tumor with large enough margins but 2-3 months isn’t long enough to say she is “cancer free”.

Well, it is just an announcement that we already knew, she has no more cancer after it was removed and she is working from home. The feel of this is it was aggregated in the same way that the outside doctors opinion article was last week.

I still can't find the SCOTUS spokesperson that said this.

quote:

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's recovery from cancer surgery is “on track,” though she will remain off the bench for the second week in a row, the Supreme Court said Friday.

“Justice Ginsburg will continue to work from home next week and will participate in the consideration and decision of the cases on the basis of the briefs and the transcripts of oral arguments,” Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said in a statement.

Arberg said that Ginsburg’s post-surgery evaluation showed no signs of remaining cancer and that no additional treatment is needed.

They need to test her and find out how she keeps beating cancer. Maybe the crusty old broad has the cure to it in her blood.

Neither of my parents were that lucky.

I do as well. Surely some selfish assholes pressuring her to stay on, likely sliding some money over to convince her to stick around (not only on the living side...)

Lol what? I said Mitch McConnell should have allowed the Garland nomination to proceed. I've never defended McConnell barring the nomination of Garland. I've also said the only reason I support McConnell using the nuclear option for SCOTUS nominees is because Democrats had already done so for cabinet members.

Nice try though.

Liberal justices have retired during Republican presidencies, notably both Thurgood Marshall and William Brennan, two of the most left wing justices of the 20th century. They acknowledged they were old and opted to retire for the continuity of the courts.

Yeah, she's on track to exceed 3/4 of my parent's combined lifespan.

This "cancer is gone working from home" highly aggregated news over the past 45 minutes is strange, so far.

Who is Kathy Arberg?

Even the daily caller aggregated it. Who started it? Was it CNN like last weeks article saying nothing to see here, move along?

It really looks like a repeat of old news with no official SCOTUS rep?

The spox for SCOTUS is a name used in the past but the news isn't news.

Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the Supreme Court.
