Roommate tested positive a couple days ago. Did the rapid one and it came back positive too. Others that have been hanging with us constantly indoors for the past couple weeks have came back negative. TBH kinda nervous but given the low accuracy of these tests I guess I won’t really know till I have symptoms. I’ll keep this updated with how I’m feeling if anyone wants a reference.

Prayers to ya...have heard speculation though that even the common cold can trigger positive test results. Request HCQ plus Zpack!!

Should have worn that full body condom Dr Dickwad suggested.

Seriously, if you're not symptomatic by now your e probably not going to be.

I just turned 21, weight about 186. Problems are that I have slight hypertension and I vape. Roommate caught it at a party with the local Tuscaloosa Jimmy Johns workers and brought it home. I’ll be the guinea pig on here I guess. If I do get super sick they better give me some damn Trump medicine.

why did you get tested then?

if you don't have symptoms now, what makes you think you're going to have them in the future?

You think the test caught it just early enough?

I doubt it

Are you over 65? Do you have diabetes or other secondary conditions?
Odds are you may never experience symptoms.
If no, then don’t worry about anything. Worry more about getting hit by lightning

The actual tests are not low accuracy at all.

You're fine, I had it too, its really no big deal.

If you're worried, load up on Vitamin D3, C, and Zinc. That's straight from a friend that is an epidemiologist literally working on a COVID drug trial.

Chances are your symptoms, if any, will be incredibly mild.

It is truly nothing for 98% of people

Unless you are 5'4" you are probably fine. Just don't be a jerk and stay at home until you get a clear from a doctor.

Even if you don't feel particularly bad, quarantine yourself until you get clearance.

CAVEAT: I AM NOT A DOCTOR- go listen to your doctor

You probably caught the virus by the act of vaping. Putting things to and from your mouth increases your risk of catching any virus.

Stoke up on vitamin D. People who are vitamin D deficient have a much worst time with the Wuhan flu. Either get 20 minutes in the sun in a bathing suit or take capsules or both.

I got symptoms exactly 8 days post exposure.

Major symptoms last maybe 2 days, minor symptoms (fatigue) about 4 total days.

I had It and all the syproms. The worst days are 4-8. Day 10 you start to feel better. For the next two months you will be fatigued but can’t sleep regularly. Appetite will diminish with no smell and taste. Take Tylenol, zinc, vitamin C and D. Drink lots of water. My best to you on your recovery. FYI walk everyday to about blood clots. .

If it makes you feel better, I tested positive a couple days ago. Relative in hospital tested positive and i was mildly symptomatic (running nose, headache, light fatigue and slight cough that all lasted all of 2 or 3 days). Got tested after found out about the relative since we had contact. And viola, here I am working from home feeling like a million bucks. Never had a fever and symptoms have resolved. I just didn’t want to go to work if it was possible I had it, otherwise, I would have thought I just had some allergies.
