The fundamentalists are a plague on this country.

This is the way.
Change the Overton window. Change the framing.

All of you melting populists, explain this to me:
The entire left and especially every leftist woman in the country had already declared this would happen during the election campaign we just had.
To the point that as soon as Trump was elected, they went online vowing to never have sex with men again, encouraging each other to leave their significant others and eschew their family members because they supported people who were going to take away their rights, etc., etc., and Trump still won and Republicans still made gains in the Senate and held the House.
What exactly do you think is going to be different in the mid-terms? What can the left do to protest this issue that you think is going to be more radical and convince more people to join them than vows of celibacy and shaving their heads online?
Sounds to me like y'all need to quit being such pussies, man up, and quit being scared to do the right thing.

I am kind of surprised so many that think abortion is wrong are against this bill. WWJD

Not me.
Populists have no principle.

The past election just showed abortion doesn't move the needle the way y'all think it does. But yay for preemptive melts

You'd think it would still be fresh in their minds.
But dogmas die hard.

Abortion is was and always will be a state issue.
Congress has no more authority to ban abortions as to legalize them.
Just because you like the law, doesn’t mean the law is constitutional.
This is ridiculously stupid grandstanding-and is as unconstitutional as Roe v Wade was.

Wtf?
Even if this is an attempt to muddy the waters on the 14th on regard to immigration it's an awful idea.

A little off topic.
Why can't repubs just sponsor a bill that gives men the right, a legal pathway, to walk away from parenthood just as women can? Also in the bill, once a man declines fatherhood or his parental responsibility, he cannot be compelled to fatherhood - pay child support or the like.
If women can walk away, then so can men.
I'm not saying it's right. I'm saying it would be a boss move.
If women want abortion, then they have to compromise. Equal rights.

This is how you melt, kids. The Supremes rightly made this a state issue. Murder is abhorrent, and the murder of unborn children is unforgivable in my opinion, but it I’m perfectly willing to let God deal with the murderers to keep the issue where it belongs.

This is not going anywhere. Every Democrat will vote against it, and surely enough Republicans will have enough sense to vote it down.

“Everyone knows I would not support a federal abortion ban, under any circumstances, and would, in fact, veto it, because it is up to the states to decide based on the will of their voters (the will of the people!)” Trump wrote in an all-caps post on his Truth Social platform during the CBS vice presidential debate between his running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
Hmmm....

State choice. It's must be a virtue signaling Republican whose constituents are very pro life, right? Because trump and other top politicians have already said it should be left to the states.

Pretty much. You did your part by voting your conscience.
