Ive never seen someone misspeak this many times about the same thing.
Crazy.
Crazy.

I've seen the caveat about him going to Bagram as a Congressman. Seems like it would be easy enough to confirm whether we were transporting fallen soldiers back during his visit, correct?
If he lied about that, in conjunction with the misleading nature of the phrasing, yikes.

We all know what this really is. He has continuously used his national guard career and tied it to active service in war. He seems to just avoid saying that he served in an active theatre of war by playing with how he delivers his message. The weapons of war is the worst and most blatant I’ve seen so far. What he’s doing is shameful, but it is yet to be seen if undecides will hold him accountable for these statements.

Good one! I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried something along the same lines though

You’re assuming the media cares.
They don’t
Nor do core DNC voters... They hate this country and the military.

To be fair, if you watch the video of the speech, he only says "tarmac at Bagram." Not sure why the transcript says "tarmac at Bagram Air Base in Iraq."
Just like the Coach “scandal” two days ago, there is a group of people going through every speech this guy has ever made trying to find the smallest example where the guy misspoke, or piece together two sentences he said to “show as definitive proof” he’s got some grand ultra deceptive plan to “steal valor” or otherwise discredit him.
I mean, on the other hand - you have Donald Trump who boldly claims a few days ago that he was on a helicopter that crash landed with Willie Brown, and Willie Brown proceeded to tell him all these terrible things about Kamala, and Willie Brown is lying and he’s gonna sue the NYT for calling him out for being incorrect…..he “misspeaks”’or misremembered details, and then doubles down on it.
But yeah…well…..OMG Walz he said Bagram was
in Iraq!!!

Cool. Now explain the part where he said
1) he left when his daughter was 2 and came back when she was 3
2) he felt guilt for coming back when so many other did not.

Here’s the typical deflection and then reverting back to the “let’s over analyze every word to try to find some inconsistencies” nonsense.
Just like the coach “scandal”, this is not some smoking gun that he is engaging in some massive plot to portray himself as a war hero.
Just like your “speculation” about his statement “he felt guilt for coming back when others didn’t”, I could “speculate” to provide
an explanation….ok, maybe he felt the guilt while on a drive home from drill one weekend. Who’s to say if he did or he didn’t? Is it better or worse that he feels that way? Fwiw, do you think Donald Trump ever felt “guilt” that he had bone spurs which kept him out of the military while so many men of his age didn’t come back from Vietnam?

You’re reaching for straws/rationalizing his intentionally deceitful presentation to compensate for your TDS. If you watch the whole speech it’s blatantly obvious he’s trying to portray himself as a combat vet

You support Walz? Why? Be specific.

When you listen to that speech or read that transcript, do you came away understanding Walz never served in a combat zone but was actually describing a few months deployment to Europe and his visiting Afghanistan as part of a congressional delegation?
Walz chose his words carefully in order to lead listeners/readers to believe he served in a combat zone but then could also rely on dupes like you to argue he really didn't lie about anything.

He clearly wanted his audience to think he saw fallen soldiers as party of his National Guard service. You know that. Stop lying to yourself.

There were three potential casualties during his trip that could’ve flown into Bagram or out of Bagram. Two of them were from the same incident. So, those are unlikely.
The likelihood of him being there when one of these soldiers were flown in, when his 4-day itinerary included Germany, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq (according to him), is pretty low. He basically had a cup of coffee in four countries and flew home.
