Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe if he steps down or dies before August 14 (not sure of exact date), a special election has to be held.
Personally I think they are trying to hide him and hope he holds on long enough to get past that date so the Dem governor can stick his commie wife in the seat.

You're right, and also right about them hiding him until after Aug 14. There's no way there will be a special election for his seat.

His handlers basically destroyed what he had left in his life to prop up a literal body for the election.

It is sad and those involved should feel terrible (but I doubt most, including his wife, do)

Depression is a cover for the real reason he's in hospital.

Like Potato Joe's trips to Delaware each weekend. He's getting 'treatment', and don't believe what the official narrative is being told to the press.

We will never know. Heck, he doesn't know and can't express himself at all, so it is unknowable.

He's brain dead.

Rumor has it that Fetterman is in such dire condition that he will require a brain transplant from a deceased Democrat. Unfortunately none of the deceased Democrats available appeared to have a functioning brain either. Now they have begun conducting a survey of the living ones in search of a potential donor and still have thus far been unable to find one with a functioning brain.
